Makes a really loud buzzing noise during operation

Unit uses a Magnetron and likely a power board called an inverter to run it. Someone would have to open the unit in a way where they might pinpoint where the sound is coming from and then take action--does not of course sound normal or good to me.

1993 mbz 300e won't turn over, battery full charge and buzzing noise from relay area.

hi,

the first thing that I would check is to make sure your battery is fully charged or try and jump the battery using another car battery.
if still no go then I would say that your starter solenoid is bad.
while checking the solenoid/starter double check to make sure your block to body ground cable is secure.

hope this helps,

It depends upon the type of UPS.

A true UPS requires a battery to be connected to the inverter at all times. Mains power is used to charge the battery constantly and battery is required to continually supply power to the inverter which then converts the voltage to mains supply voltage.

A lower powered and cheaper type UPS areswitch-over types, when the mains supply fails, the UPS switches over to thebatteries and the inverter in milli-seconds which then supplies mains power to thecomputer and peripherals.
This type UPS may operate without a battery, but it depends upon the design of the UPS and the battery error detection system In most cases I doubt it can operate without a battery. You can try the UPS without a battery, make sure the battery terminals do not short against each other.

Can i have all the basic details of UPS system

UPS come in two types, lower powered cheaper types are usually switch over power.
These units senses a power outage and then switch over to the battery power to generate mains supply. The switch over occurs in milli-secs and does not affect the computer.
True UPS types constantly run off battery power to generate mains supply so there is no switch over time lag. These units are higher powered and higher costs units.

Both type of UPS have the same components.
Battery charger.

Your Freedom 458 has died. At this point, you need to isolate the batteries from the inverter / charger unit to prevent further risk of fire.

It is normal, with the fried charger, for the battery voltage to plummet even while plugged in. There is no converter to maintain them. When you start your rig, the alternator on the engine is charging the batteries. With the rapid drop in battery voltage, your inverter likely is shorted.

Remove the main battery fuse between the inverter and batteries, as well as unplug / turn off the breaker to the inverter /charger. Take your coach to the nearet service center, as it may still be under (partial?) warranty.

Inverting side working fine but charger is not

I had a similar problem at work yesterday.when your charger switches of it assumes that the battery is fully charged, while it is not.this is the solution , switch on you inverter machine and allow it to run, while it is running use a direct current "dc" multi meter a test the voltages of the batteries any one that drops like 3 volts below the normal voltage is bad. Change it and you will notice that the problem will stop. Note that when a battery is bad it takes little time to get it charged than when it is in a good condition .

Device is making a whistling sound or humming sound. It still has power and is powering the devices plugged into the back up system.

Is the unit running on battery power? A hum is normal when the inverter is running.

if it is CONSTANTLY making a humming noise, it is possible the unit is failing. Check your battery inside the unit, make sure it does not look swollen at all. If it is, you know the unit is failing and overcharging the battery. If it is not, pull the power cable from the outlet and see if it provides back up power and then plug it back in.

If the connected equipment stays on line, then the unit is working fine however I would consider buying a replacement UPS in the near future, a constant hum all the time is a bad sign.

Have a hoverround mpv 4,do you charge with the controller on or off, when on i get a buzzing noise loud im thinking you charge when the controller is off need help thank you

Typically you will charge with the controller off, but it is not critical. The buzzing noise may be the fan on the charger, which is normal. Make sure the silver handle of the charger is fully inserted into the controller. If the light on the charger is on, you have kept the charger connected for 8-12 hours and still the batteries will not charge, there may be a problem with the batteries being bad and they need to be replaced.

When the radio is powered up a a constant buzzing noise is present. This noise is at the same audible tone when the radio is set to any volume level and whether it is set to CB, or weather selection... ...

If this is a high-pitched tone it probaly is from the DC-AC inverter that provides the high voltage to light up the front panel. Normally, this is barely audible, but I've seen a few that are loud enough to be annoying. It may be possible to install a small filter in the power line to the inverter, inside the radio. I've never tried this but if the inverter is the source of the noise, this will be the most practical way to isolate ite & eliminate the problem.
This should onlty be attempted byan experienced CB technician.
