Tip & How-To about Polaroid Televison & Video

How to view videos on your usb in the Polaroid P32led 12 Television.

I related my earlier finding on how to put a film onto your usb to work in the Polaroid P32led 12 Television. I found that it was a VOB file?  I have now again fiddled about and found that if you install this program into your Pc:- BIGASOFT MP4 CONVERTER V.3.6.10.4437 or newer version, then setting the output format to:- VCD VIDEO (*.mpg)____Video Size:- 352 * 288cif____Video Quality:- Higher___Audio Quality:-Higher.     You then find the film for converting and copy/insert into program, then convert to desktop or folder you have made on the desktop.    This is very quick with this program. When finish and on desktop, put your usb into the computer then bring up the usb folder.   You then copy his film by left click on the film/desktop then right click with mouse then copy then take pointer over to usb folder, left click then right click in usb folder, then paste the film into it. when copied, take out usb and try in tv, should have video and sound.  just do the same again for any other films.

can't play avi videos usb

Hello to all. Have twin boys staying over the holidays and they wished to view movies when they went to bed. have Polaroid 32" P32LED12 fitted to their bedroom. The tv is ok for playing dvd through it but when on using the usb drive with movies on it, it came up Invalid or Unsupported file. Have tried different movies with different formats and came up with nothing to play. So got myseld a video converter program: Wondershare video converter ultimate. On looking at the booklet from Polaroid, it says MPEG1.2, but although on converting the film to this format, the film broke up. So I took an AVI trailer and converted the trailer to all the formats on the converter and stuck this on the USB and stuck it into the tv. Out of all of them, i found that the converter format was VOB DVD FORMAT in this coverter. The film did not break up and the sound great. The film sizie was a bit smaller in frame size but this can be increased. What the converter showed after the conversion was: DVD-Video/ Format: VOB. Video Codec: MPEG-2/ Audio Codec: MPEG-2 audio. There is a settings on this converter at the lower right corner, but you can fiddle with this yourself. But to finish with, I have tried most of the films with different formats and could not get them to work on this tv, so get yourself a video program converter, put in laptop or pc and convert film to VOB. Hope this helps as there is nothing in any help on google for this tv.

will not play vob files from usb

Hello!!

You need to check or verify the V.O.B format requirements of your TV and your V.O.B format on your U.S.B if it is match to each other.

If the V.O.B format of the U.S.B is not match on format requirements of your TV try to convert it.Depends on what kind of format needed.

Or review this manual on how to do it. http://www.retrevo.com/support/Samsung-UN-55B7100-TVs-manual/id/23300bh439/t/2/

Just click the direct link the shown above using your mouse.
After that,You have the access to download the manuals or review the table of contents for more information.

I hope this solution will be helpful.Thank you and good luck.

shooting out film

Unfortunately you have a broken camera and it's not really fixable. There are plenty of free/cheap examples on FreeCycle and in thrift/charity shops but as you've discovered to your cost there's only one rather expensive way to find out whether they work...

I cannot view films on the mp4 player

Hi Claire, I used to have the same problem with a similar product. Even though the website claims it doesnt need file conversions, it does! I found if you convert it to RMVB, it will play fine.
I hope this has helped,                                   Al.
