I have a bosch dishwasher a little over a year old and noticed it is doing the same leaving some detergent after the final rinse cycle is finished. I have used used powder, liquid and even pods. I called customer service and they were no help. Detergent residue is very toxic. so this is issue is not minor issue. I tried opening the door shortly after the door lid opens and noticed the pod is stuck and only partially disolved. I pour water in the dispenser to wash the soap and allow the cycle to complete. If I fail to catch the problem during the cycle I wash the soap out and then run the washer in the rinse cycle once or twice. I know this is a band aid until a resolve the issue. Today I pulled the spray arms out and found a couple holes plugged I cleaned them and flushed the arms by hosing water into the holes and then into the entry port. The problem is that water is not reaching the detergent compartment with enough volume or force to rinse the soap or pod out. All three types of detergent liquid dry and pods have been a problem. The Bosch customer service rep told me to put the pod in the little basket at the start of the wash but that means the soap gets drained after the first rinse. Again I think Bosch knows this is a design problem but won't admit it. I will write again if I get a resolution.

Any ideas as to why dishes do not come clean?

Their cold be a couple of reasons. Are your dishes stacked too close together inhibiting the water from getting to the dishes? Are you putting in enough soap to get the job done? How dirty are the dishes and how long has the food dried on the dishes? when I have a lot of dishes I always put the dishwasher on high temp to make sure the dishes get clean!

When washer is discharging its water it comes out the air vent, the inside of washer is dirty. What can I do to fix the problem. Thank you ...

You need to take back of dish washer off unhook the drain hose and clean that hose good with soap and water or companies recommandations for cleaning hose and as for inside being dirty use a disinfectant clean the inside out and then after hoses are put back on and back is back on run dishwasher with no dishes and no soap for one cicle to rinse and test unit.

Soap doesn't empty from dispenser

Assuming you are using the correct detergent powder, check if the dishes are remaining dirty.

The water from the impeller may not be rushing up enough due to blockage or limited movement of impeller arm. Follow the insructions to clean the impeller, filter etc or check base of drawer for obstructions to impeller arm.

Dishs have soap flim

If your dishwasher has been in use for a period of time, you may need to clean the interior of the washer.
The next time you are at the grocery store, pick up (2) containers of "Tang" orange drink. With no dishes in the dish washer, fill the soap container with Tang, close the lid and poor the remaining Tang in the bottom of the dishwasher.
Close the door and run through your regular wash cycle. You may have to repeat this with the second container if it is an older model washer.
The citric acid in the Tang will clean the soap scum off the inside as well as the pump chamber inside the washer.
Good luck, it worked for me, cleaned it nice and shinny and smells good too.
Regards,

Top rack of dishes is not clean

start by cleaning the dishwasher itself. then you may discover that you are putting objects in invorrectly and the rotars are not spinning correctly or at all because being blocked. also you may want to try a stronger detergent/soap

I had the same issue and you will never beleive the solution.
Steps to follow:
1) run one full cycle with no dishes or soap
2) run one full cycle with a dishwasher cleaner like Jetdry
3) run one full cycle with a gallon of white vinager
4) never put soap in the extra in and only fill the main soap bin half way.

should work fine from here on out, but never fill main bin more then half way when you do dishes. also run the hot water in the sink until the water is very hot before starting the dish washer.

First clean the sprayer arm of all debris. In the back of most dishwashers there is a screen on the bottom that is often full of junk, debris and other stuff from dishes not being scraped off.

Clean that screeen off.

Run vinegar (1 cup) for a full cycle to help break down the lime and other build ups.

Check sprayer arm for debris and other objects. carefully pick it out with a small needle or sometimes even a nail works.

Try running dishes again to see if this helps.

Dishwasher not cleaning dishes. Casade cleaner not disolved.???

Run the unit with no soap, after about 5 min. of run time open door and check to see if water is clear or soapy,If soapy then you are having an oversudsng issue. When your washer gets to rinse cycle, your unit (if oversuding),will be rinsing with soapy water and the the drying cycle bakes the soap on dishes. You might be having a white film on your clear glasses.Cut down on soap especially if you have soft water.powder soap is best.Your dishwasher will fill , wash , the drain. Its what you put into it that will cause dishes not become clean.
