you cant, they are on a timer. make sure theres no water in the washer ( put it on a spin cycle ) drain all water out and try then. if that dosent work unplug the washer from the mains and leave it for a few moments then try then
Check your washer plug to see if the connections are
screwed. Next check your filter if you haven't for long.
the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel under the
washer door. Your filter door will be light brown. If you find a hose
there it is to drain out excess water (water that could not be drained
by your pump) After you hv drained unscrew the cap and
remove all the junk inside. Have a large plastic bag to catch junk and
water. Refit carefully after cleaning out. If not solved, something
shd be blocking your pump, check this out.
While the machine is on press "end of cycle" for 3 seconds, then wait
for 2 minutes to try the door. Try this again if it does not open, this
is the child lock program - to lock and unlock; it is the same
I just had the same problem and came here looking for a solution...I went back one last time and tried to unplug. That didn't work. Then I put it on drain/spin and after a minute interrupted by hitting the pause/cancel button - and it released! I am so happy!
unplug the washer for 15 minutes then:plug it back in and, restart a few times in a different cycle canceling each time until the door opens. Do this only if the tub is not full of water if it is let me know and, i'll show you how to drain the washer first before we try to open the door.
whooaaa put down the ha\mmer, it wont open if theres too much water in unit. there is a manual release, but you have to remove the lower service panel to reach it.after removing the panel youll need to stick your hand up along side the front panel right hand side. the lowest ponit of the door latch/lock assy has a quarter sized handle that youll need to pull to relesae the door mechinism., WARNING if there is water visble through the door and you open it you will get wet...before trying the manual release option turn off the water supply and set the machine for drain/spin cycle and see if the drain pump turns on to release enough water to opne the door on its own,if the drain pumps only humms and doenst drain, then theres the issue you have something stuck in the drain pump. in which casse youll need to remove the lower panel and free the clog anyway.
did you try running a drain and spin cylce? there might be water in machine still and thats why door not unlocking..Assuming theres no water in machine( youcant see any waterline though glass) you can remove the bottom cover (3 torx 15 screws) UNPLUG UNIT. reach your hand up approx six in. on right inside face of unityoull find a manual release for the door lock assy, round tab mounted to bottom of latch assy approx size of a quarter, give it a pull and door will open, might be a fluke that it lock but i would check for operation before filling with close again
humming noise suggests a foreign object in the pump. crack open filter and drain water into a shallow tray. repeat till empty. remove filter completely and clean it. check if something stuck in pump impellor. this should be visible by looking into the filter hole
