Error messages nikon d7000

Nikon makes several different 85mm f/1.4 lenses, but it appears you're using one with an aperture ring. Turn the aperture ring to its smallest setting (largest f/number). You can control the aperture from the camera body, the same was as on a lens without an aperture ring.

Go to Samsung's Support Page for Cellphones. Pick your carrier and model number (not the name). the model number is usually behind the battery.

I have a Nikon 105mm 1:2.8 serial #200964. I'm

Nikon makes or has made several different 105mm 1:2.8 lenses, including an AF-S model and an AF-D model, as well as older manual-focus varieties.
Somewhere on the lens it will say "Nikon" or "Nikkor" along with "105mm" and "1:2.8". There should be additional text along with that. Your best bet is to include all of that in your description of the lens.

When I attach my Lensbaby, I get a message saying "No lens". I know I'm attaching it correctly.

The Lensbaby does not incorporate any electronic circuitry. Without any, the lens cannot communicate with the camera. That is what the F-- message indicates. Without the communications, the camera cannot meter the exposure since it doesn't know what aperture the lens is set to.

Your lens is on properly. You just can't meter through it. You can use a separate light meter, meter through a different lens, or simply shoot and adjust the exposure by looking at the result and the histogram.

I just purchased the Nikon AF f/1.8 85mm lens and it's giving me an error message on my D300, it wont let me change the apeture via lens ring,if the ring is locked I can adjust it with the controll wheel...

There doesn't seem to be a problem with the 85mm.

Nikon has made a lot of different 50mm f/1.8 lenses, so I won't say anything about them without knowing which particular type.

Nikkor 18-55mm lens on Nikon d50 locks up in autofocus mode.

The "err" is generally when you have the aperture set to something other than "F22" with the aperture lock on. As far as the lens, you should take a pencil and use the eraser end on the electrical contacts both on the lens and camera and ensure that they are clean. Often times, cameras will respond, but not fully, if some of the contacts have build-up on them. If this still doesn't work, take the lens to a camera shop or ask a friend to borrow their nikon and try using the lens on a different camera to see if it is indeed the lens or the camera. Doing this will help you determine which needs to go to the repair shop.

Error 99

Error 99 is sort of a catch all error code. So it can mean a few things might be wrong.

To isolate the cause of the issue, do the following:

1. Turn off the camera.
2. Remove the lens, battery, and CF card.
3. Allow the camera to sit without power for approximately 20 minutes.
4. Insert a fully charged battery, and turn on the camera.

Does the "ERR 99" message appear? If it does, then the camera should be serviced. If it does not, then please proceed to the next set of

1. Turn off the camera.
2. Insert the CF card.
3. Turn on the camera.
4. Format the CF card in the camera.

Does the "ERR 99" message appear? If so, then the CF card is the most likely source of the issue. Try using a different card.

If the message does not appear, please complete the following steps:

1. Turn off the camera.
2. Clean the lens contacts by gently rubbing them with a pencil eraser
or soft cloth. Be careful that you do not let any debris fall into the
camera body.
3. Reattach your lens.
4. Turn on the camera.

If the "ERR 99" message only appears when one particular lens is
attached, then that lens should be examined by a service technician.

If you see the "ERR 99" with a different Canon lens attached, then the
camera should be serviced.

If you need to have it serviced go to the caon webpage and click on support. Try calling one of the support numbers or if available the live web help. They will then tell you how to get the camera to them and what to expect. I've found them to be real good to deal with which is always nice when you have a problem.
