Facebook uses cookies to store the log in details and she is using the same login to the computer as you and she has it set to remember the username and password in the browser.

Delete the browser cache containing passwords.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

SOURCE: Cannot log out of Facebook

The solution I found is simple...
1) Go to the "Tools" option in InternetExplorer
2) Then go to "Internet Options"
3) Select the "Delete" option in the browsing history section.
4) Menu will appear, simply UNTICK THE FIRST BOX! which states "Preseve favourites website data".
This will remove the facebook cookie and stuff so when you log out of hotmail you will not see that message about not being able to log out of facebook anymore =]

Hope this helps It really should!

Hi I lik to get my wife a facebook account I already have a account can she get 1 too using the same computer?

Yes. Each of you will have separate log-in information. So you first need to make sure you have your own correct log-in information handy, then you'll need to log off from your account. To log off, go to Facebook in your browser. In the top dark blue bar on the right is a little triangle pointing down. Click that and a menu will open. Select "Log Out" from that menu. Now you or your wife can create a Facebook account for her.

I joined facebook. then my wife joined. Now I can't get on facebook on onmy own account.

Your computer can be logged into only one Facebook account at a time. You can log out of one account by clicking the gear icon in the upper-right then selecting "Log Out" from the drop-down menu. Once logged out of Facebook, you can then log in on a different account.

I am signed up on facebook on my laptop but my wife cannot create a facebook page of her own. When I open facebook, it goes to my page and my wife cannot get to her account??????

The problem is that you are not logging out of your account. When you log onto your facebook account you will see at the top right corner of the screen a tab that says account with a downwards arrow, put the mouse over the tab and click. Scroll down to where it says log out and click on that aswell. You should now be at a page where you can imput your information to create your wife's account. Goodluck!

We have two facebook accounts one for me and one for my wife, so when I try to open mine always appear my wife,s instead. please tell me what can I do to have easy acces to my account.

You can set up a different browser for each user and stay logged in on each browser. For instance, you use Firefox and your wife uses Google Chrome, and each browser saves your personal settings. Or just log out of your wife's and log into yours.

My wife started a Facebook account and used our email address as an alternate. I now can't get into my account because it only recognizes her at our email address. She even deactivated it but when I try...

My wife started a Facebook account : does it mean u have created a seperate account in ur name ?

solution : 1 if so , u must have got the activeation mail : please check ur inbox and junk folder . if u dont find the activation/confirmation mail from face book , then looks like ur alternate mail has been used primary contact :

solution 2 : ask ur wife to login to her accout and then later log off .

then sign in with ur personal account and see if the creadentials are valid .

(u can view 2  diff account on the same browser , unless 1 of the account is logged off ).

would b glad know more about it .,

good day .
