Final high speed spin very noisey

Something is causing the drum to be way out of balance. Does it bang and make noise when it's spinning empty? Probably not. Is something stuck on the side (inside of course) of the drum, causing it to shake when spinning? If not, a spring or shock absorber (connecting drum to sides, bottom or top of machine) has broken or come loose.

When in fast spin there is a loud rattling sound as though there are stones in the drum

You could have something fast between the inner and outer drum, or one or more of the drum paddles is loose..
Remove lower rear panel of washer, remove the belt, and from the front spin the drum by hand, this this will show if the drum bearings are o/k.
There should be little or no noise from the drum.
If it is rumbling, or feels rough, then the main bearings have failed.
If ther is something caught, then you will hear it catching or clicking.
Hope this helps.

Loud banging

Several possibilities for noise. check concrete balance wieghts at top and bottom of washer, make sure they are not loose.
Check drum restraint spring(s) are not broken.
Check suspension legs for wear.
Check for loose motor fixings.
Finally, remove drum belt, and spin drum by hand, tjhere should be noise from bearings, if it feels rough or is rumbling , then main bearings have failed.
Please rate my comments.
Thanks.

During the final spin cycle, water is leaking inside the machine

You have a problem with the pressure switch cutting in too early before all of the water has drained away from the outer drum

There is either an obstruction in the outlet pipe or pump which is not allowing the water to discharge fast enough.

The machine is then spinning with too much water left in the outer drum added to the water which is being expelled from the clothes equals leaking

Take the hose off the back of the machine and put it in a sink , make sure it is secure and do a rinse cycle

Watch the outlet and make sure it is a strong flow if it is weak then you have probably got an item of clothing stuck in the pipe from the drum to the pump and a strip down is required

One more thing there is a small plastic bottle attached to the back of the outer drum this has tube which leads to the pressure switch

Make sure there is no congealed soap in the Air Bell as it is called

Hotpoint WF100 Vibrating on final spin or fast spin

Hi Clive, if you look under the drum you will see two damper legs which are secured to the drum and the chasis, you will find that one or even both of these are defective, what happens is that one packs in and puts double pressure on the other resulting in that breaking down. take them off and examin them, they should both have a resistance to a fast pull, and should move quite easily with a steady pull applied.
Good luck hope it works.

Sounds like rocks in machine on final spin

The rear drum seal has leaked water into the rear bearing. Sorry, but the repair is expensive and difficult. It's time for a new washer. Look into the LG models, which are direct drive. Please don't bother rating this, as anything other than a FixYa drops my rating, and I know you don't want to kill the messenger, right?

LETS check the DRAIN MOTOR PUMP it could be clogged , open panel of washer to access inside , look for a small motor with 2 hoses connected to it , take it out , clean it , re install and try it again , hope this helps AJ
