My hand hoover is not sucking up

This is something I actually did with my Electrolux canister "SWEEPER HOSE" and yes, I know it sounds weird, but it worked. First of all, check for obstructions in the hose. If the hose is clear, then detach the HOSE from the sweeper and run water through it and see if there are any leaks. (If a hose has an "air" leak it will not be able to "suck" as well). Drain out the water and let it completely dry (inside and out) before reattaching it to the sweeper. Tape over the leak with duck tape or Gaffer's tape. My Electrolux sweeper hose had to be completely wrapped with tape (from one end to the other), but wow it really worked. The sucking capacity was increased tremendously. I hope this helps.

I have a craftsman lawn sweeper 32 inch pulling it forward the wheels slides

  1. The sweeper wheels or axle (if live axle) need servicing and lubing if they do not turn freely.
  2. If the sweeper from end rides too low, the sweeper will essentially be dragging, possibly with wheels elevated slightly out of contact with ground. Remember, the ground is what turns the wheels. One way would be to raise sweeper hitch tongue by inserting washers between tongue and mower hitch.
  3. If all check, adjustment, and lubing does not correct, consider putting weight on the seeeper or in the sweeper collector to put more weight on wheel contact with ground.

Bissell powerforce bagless vacuum, when turned on dust flies out sweeper

Dust flying out of the sweeper indicates that their is a blockage in the pathway that the dirt normally travels to get into the dirt collection chamber. Turn the sweeper upside down and look for a blockage of some kind. Also, empty out the canister and look to see that the pathway into the canister is clear.

My dyson animal sweeper just stopped running

Take it to your local vac shop and let them diagnose it. You are within warranty so if it is clogged warranty will not cover that, but everything else warranty will cover.

The rollers at the bottom of the sweeper have things stuck around them

You need to start with a pair of scissors and patience. Sit on the floor with the vacuum roller visible and accessible. Snip a string and pull it off. If the roller stops, cut string at that point. Try again. this is time consuming, but necessary. We borrowed a vacuum from a family that had four girls with long blond hair. We had to de-hair the roller before it would work sufficiently on our carpet. Once the hair was off, it worked GREAT! It was so wonderful that we went out and bought a Dyson of our own; now we don't have to remove long blonde hair from the roller to get it to work.

Dirt Devil M084600 Dynamite

If it is only 2 months old, then it is under warranty, take it in for warranty repair. There may be a circuit breaker on it, usually on the back at the bottom, it there is, push it to see if it has tripped.
