SOURCE: put new batteries in

The device have to be powered and on when you press the reset button ..and if it the reset is functioning it has to restart the device when is pressed..Only then you know for sure that it was reset ....Another thing to do is to remove any memory card or anything that may not be read proper in it ...and start it again ..If same thing happens than remove and reinsert the battery ..and power it up without any media in it stick or card of memory ..If still makes the same have to get to the support site ..and download the firmware soft and install it again ..cause it was damaged during the battery changing process..If it has a permanent rechargeable battery should change it ..while the device was plugged into the charger ..cause if it do not have a cmos battery ..the memory flash lost the firmware when it was with no battery at all ..reinstalling the firmware will do the job in this case..

98 Oldsmobile Aurora There's a on my Dash it says information center and has the oil fuel speed all that it says low oil is there any way anybody knows how to reset that

Check your engine oil using the oil dipstick located on the engine - you need to add oil to the fill line as shown on the dipstick. You should have the oil replaced regularly (every 3-6 months) and keep your eye on the level if the engine is leaking oil underneath or burning a lot of it.

Ti 83 will not power on replaced all batteries

When you clear memory, the contrast sometimes changes. If the screen
is faded or blank, adjust the contrast by pressing 2nd and up- arrow or down- arrow keys .

Resetting RAM restores RAM system variables to factory settings and
deletes all nonsystem variables and all programs. Resetting defaults
restores all system variables to default settings without deleting variables and programs in RAM. Resetting RAM or resetting defaults does not
affect variables and applications in user data archive.
Tip: Before you reset all RAM memory, consider restoring sufficient available
memory by deleting only selected data.
To reset all RAM memory or RAM defaults on the TI-83 Plus, follow these
1. From the RAM ARCHIVE ALL menu, select 1:ALL RAM to display the
RESET RAM menu or 2:Defaults to display the RESET DEFAULTS menu.
2. If you are resetting RAM, read the message below the RESET RAM
• To cancel the reset and return to the home screen, press .
• To erase RAM memory or reset defaults, select 2:Reset.
Depending on your choice, the message RAM cleared or Defaults
set is displayed on the home screen.

Once the DATA ERROR DISPLAY appears,You will not be able to INPUT or EDIT DATA, though you will be able to recall Data after pressing CLEAR to clear the error message.**YOU WILL

In order to return the memory to normal (allowing further input and editing of data), you must perform the RESET OPERATION to clear the memory of all data-Make sure you have backed up or taken a hardcopy of this information before Resetting or it will be gone and there is nothing you can do to get it back.Once you have RESET you can re-input the data you have written down.

WHAT CAUSES THE ERROR MESSAGE?Interruption of battery power.Severe electrostatic charge, impact, change in temperature
or humidity.Hardware Problem.

Recommendations:Replace batteries every 2 years, regardless of use.Use only CR2032 Lithium batteries.Replace all batteries-Never mix old ones with new ones!
Caution: All data stored is lost if you remove more than 1 battery at a time. The following Info is per the instruction manual-WHICH ALSO SAYS :Be sure you keep a separate copy of all important data that you store in the SF-5100/SF-5300.Hope this helps.
