Here ya go,although fixya is not a personal dictionary for you,

In geometry, a polygon /?p?l???n/ is traditionally a plane figure that is bounded by a finite chain of straight line segments closing in a loop to form a closed chain or circuit. These segments are called its edges or sides, and the points where two edges meet are the polygon's vertices (singular: vertex) or corners. The interior of the polygon is sometimes called its body. An n-gon is a polygon with n sides. A polygon is a 2-dimensional example of the more general polytope in any number of dimensions.
The word "polygon" derives from the Greek ????? (pol?s) "much", "many" and ????? (g?n?a) "corner", "angle", or ???? (g?nu) "knee".[1]
The basic geometrical notion has been adapted in various ways to suit particular purposes. Mathematicians are often concerned only with the bounding closed polygonal chain and with simple polygons which do not self-intersect, and they often define a polygon accordingly. A polygonal boundary may be allowed to intersect itself, creating star polygons. Geometrically two edges meeting at a corner are required to form an angle that is not straight (180°); otherwise, the line segments may be considered parts of a single edge; however mathematically, such corners may sometimes be allowed

L6 10 Content Polygon motor lock trouble

Details The polygon motor does not rotate.

The motor lock signal is detected for 6sec

or more after the polygon motor rotates.

The motor lock signal is detected for 1sec

during rotation of the polygon motor.

Cause Polygon motor unit failure

Polygon motor connection harness trouble

or disconnection

MCU PWB failure

Check

and

remedy

Check the polygon motor operation with

SIM 61-1.

Check connector/harness of polygon

motor

Replace the polygon motor.
Replace the MCU PWB.

If the polygon motor isn't working then you will neeto buy a new Laser Unit. They can be expensive if you can get one. To replace it will tak alot of disassembly as well. Might be better and more cost effective to get a new machine.

How do convex polygons differ from non-convex polygons?

A convex polygon is one with each of its interior angles less than 180 degrees and every line segment between any of its two vertices remains inside or on the boundary of the polygon.

150px-pentagon.svg.pngExample of a convex polygon (WIKIPEDIA)

A concave polygon will always possess an interior angle with a measure that is greater than 180 degrees.

Does circle has a side

A circle has four different ideas to sides.

-Inside and Outside (two)
-No sides (zero)
-Disk idea, top and bottom (two)
The meaning of the word SIDE depends on its context. A polygon in the plane has, by definition, n vertices and each pair of consecutive vertices are joined by a side. It is clear that a polygon with n vertices has n sides. In general, the word side depends on the dimension of the figure -- a side is always part of the boundary. So what is the side of a circle? If you think of the circle as a disk then it it has an up-side and a down-side. If you think of it as a curve, then it has an inside and an outside. If you think of it as the limit of an n-sided regular polygon, then one can justify the answer that the circle has infinitely many infinitesimal sides. :
the question, "How many sides does a circle have?", is too ambiguous to have a definite answer.

Error 320

Polygonal mirror motor error. The polygon mirror motor does not reach the operating speed within 10 sec or the polygon motor remains out of the operating speed.Possible cause:defective polygon mirror motor, loose connection between the polygonal mirror motor and the BICU,defective cable between the BICU and the polygonal mirror motor or defective BICU.Turning the main power switch OFF and ON resets the SC codes if the error is caused by incorrect sensor detection.
