a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

have you tried to umplugging the tv and let it sit for a little while. I would unplug the tv like before you go to bed and plug it back in in the morning and try it

Testimonial: "Well, I unplugged it for several minutes, and that was enough... thank you very much!"
most likely the power supply board has failed, but it could be the main board as well. call 1-800-samsung for nearest service center.

Testimonial: "I open the TV (Samsung 52" lcd full HD) up. I noticed 2 1000uf 10v caps has expanded at the top. I replaced the 2 caps (77pence each). TV now work."
My Samsung LNT4669F has two problems..the first is that it takes about
3 minutes to turn on. The red light at TV bases flickers on and off but
the sound is there back and forth..Finally, the wite light at base
turns on and the TV makes a noise as if it just got turned on and it
stays on..why does it take so long?
Secondly, sometimes, the HD channels flicker so badly that I cannot even watch TV..so badly that sometimes the picture is blank..however, the regular channels are fine..Can you help?

The common issue with polariod is there power supplies, Your going to have to fork out something for the repair if you not willing to buy a new TV here, A new board in this would be $175 labor another $80 or $90 tops. So you getting into $250 fast. This is why I say to all my askers NEXT TIME buy a extended warranty. This will need a new power board sorry to break it to you and its the common issue I am seeing on fixya.com from my premium chat customers. Please do be considerate as this information was free to leave postive feedback and maybe a ranting or two.. for all those expert involved in your case today.
