Try unplugging it, wait 15 seconds, and plug it back in. Look in the manual or on the back of the tv for a reset button.

My 2001 cavalier won't start tho the battery is new; it acts like it's not getting fuel even tho it has half a tank

Disconnect the fuel line off the carb then turn the starter over. There should be gas shoot out. If not your fuel pump may be shot. have you ever changed the fuel filter? If its plugged it will not work.

The tv froze up while watching netflix and won't turn off or do anything

Sounds like the CPU froze. Unplug set from power completely, then plug back in, should work. If not then the problem will have to be solved by a repair technician.

I am afraid the drive has crashed. You are gonna need a partitioning tool to format it as it will be using raw file system and cannot be seen under my computer. You can get a free partitioning tool from the link below. Just create a new partition using FAT32 filesystem and you should be fine. I hope you have backed up the data when it started acting up though!

I ws using my humax to watch a programme, when the picture froze.

It can sometimes happen if the signal level drops & the TV digital decoder cannot pick up the strength of the signal when the transmission is back to normal. Switching on & off again resets the processing again. This is a similar effect that can happen with cable or sky transmissions also, it acts the smae way as sometimes having to re-boot your PC if that should crash. It is not necessarily a fault with the TV.
