If the charger port is broken it is unlikely it can be repaired.
As a hint, when you get your replacement, buy the extended warranty.

There was never a warranty on it in the first place. It's a few years old, so what can I do?

Buy a replacement with an extended warranty.

SOURCE: The charger port broke off in the tablet of Nextbook 8. Is there a way to remove/fix this?

To fix you must take apart the device. I suggest that you search for "How to repair XXXXXX on Nextbook 3"
If the port is not solder, you should be able to fix it. Best of luck.

How to factory reset Kocaso SX9701 tablet lost password and cant get through screen lock

There is nothing in the manual.
http://www.kocaso.com/manuals/SX9700/SX9700_User_Manual.pdf
If you set a pass code (or pattern) that you cannot remember, please enter the wrong password (10-20 times) until you are prompted to sign in via your google account. Please note, this will only work if you have already setup your google account on the tablet. If you have not set up a Google (or Gmail) account on the tablet, you will have to perform a firmware install, which will revert the tablet back to factory settings.

When command do I need to reset?

you can try performing a power reset. There should a power reset button near the charging port. It looks like a tiny hole. While plugged into the charger, use a paperclip to push the button inside this hole for 3-5 seconds. If it turns on, please allow it to charge for 4-6 hours before using it.

We need a plug

The charging on the tablet depends on the model.
Most including the Kocaso 776 charge via the micro USB port, and this is a standard USB port.
So all you do is purchase a micro USB to standard USB cable and plug it into the standard USB port on the charger or a PC.

Use the firmware for SX9701 at the bottom of the page http://www.kocaso.com/support.html.

There are instructions to follow and you may need to use the Phoenix Card self extractor. Links are all on the same page.
