As part of shell ejection, why does the cylinder push up toward the handle instead of ejecting the empties?

Hi to all. Yes sir when u role the cylinder out to the side to empty it out and you push up on the ejector instead of the ejector pushing going up and pushing out the empty the hole cylinder pushes up almost touching the left hand grip when it dose this you can push the entire cylinder back down and hold it down with fingers then push the ejector up and the shells will empty out. Seems to me like the cylinder is roofing out to for to the left to barley catch on the edge of the go frame to keep the hole cylinder from going up ? So the problem is when u try to eject the empty the entire cylinder goes up instead hope this helps. Thanks Ron I

SOURCE: why does my Sks rifle not eject shells properly?

The info as to if there is a removable mag;20 or 30 rd , is no addresed. I can tell you that clips not factory will have to have a little sharp that needs to be filed down just a fraction. If u take to much off it will be loose and dangerous. Push a non-factory mag down with your finger and let it up slowly. You will be able to see where it is the inside of the mag is slightly catching the lip of the clip. Sometimes it is front, back, or both. That small bit if material is enough to cause casings from ejecting properly. ALWAYS start by removing a little material and gradually get your proper fit;because iu take too much the fat lady starts singing!! lol

My shotgun is not ejecting the shell-

If what you are saying the empty Shell is still in the open ejection area and another is trying to push in..if so your ejected is either worn or has gunk built up around it or your chamber is dirty and causing the just fired shell to stick momentarily...try firing and eject an empty shell without another feeding in and see if it clearly and quickly ejects the empty..if not it is the ejector or dirty chamber the new steel is spring fed so it should not be the poblem can try another spring and see what happens. My bet is a worn or dirty ejector..or a long shot it may be the shells expanding too much do to age damp etc try different ones..good luck..

After firing it will not eject the empty shell

Eject or extract it from the chamber. There are two different systems.

I have a Fabarm 12 Gauge Ducks Unlimited Shotgun that is brand new. I need a manual to see if there is a way to keep the chamber open and also how to eject the shells not fired.

To keep the bolt open you have to push the loading port toward the rear of the gun. you will hear a click if you've done it correctly. Now when you pull the bolt back it will stay in place. Hope this helps!

My DVD ROM cannot eject. What is the problem? Is it broken? Thanks

The DVD drive's tray might be just stuck. Try this:
1. While the laptop is switched off, straighten a paper clip.
2. Insert the straightened paper clip into the small hole in the DVD drive's door.
3. Gently press towards the inside till the paper clip pushes the handle which releases the drive's door. You will hear a click & the door will eject.

Notice that this has to be done while the laptop is switched off, or you might damage the DVD drive.

New 870 express is not cycling low base shells properly

When it stove pipes, does the empty get caught by the next live round coming up on the carrier?

Try firing one round in the chamber and none in the mag and pump like normal.

If it fires and ejects the empty with no ammo in the mag the ejection system is probably fine.

If when you shoot with one in the chamber one in the magazine and it stove pipes you may have a timing problem. The cartridge stop is letting the next shell come into position and start coming up on the carrier to early. This may be fixed by moving the ramp on the action bar so as to get ejection farther along before the next shell is released to the carrier.

Caution, if the cartridge stops are ok and the carrier is coming up to early it is another issue altogether and needs to be looked at by a smith.

The part that ejects my bullets out

Not certain for sure, but that part is called the extractor. It's a tiny hooked shaped device that grabs the rear part of the shell to eject the shell. Good Luck
