Re: Touch Screen does not work at all

My touchscreen was acting batty, not responding where I was touching. The solution for me was to:
1. remove my screen protector
2. Take a piece of paper, fold it in half, and scoop under the lip the case where it holds the touchscreen in to fish out debris that were distorting how the digitizer recorded.

Its saying calibration problem on the screen

When the Reader device is started for the first time or is reset back to factory settings, the screen must be calibrated. The Reader device will display a calibration screen that requires you to touch the stylus to the center of an "X" at several points on the screen. This is to make sure the touch screen properly recognizes input.
The process requires you to touch the "X" in the following locations on the screen:
  • Top left
  • Bottom right
  • Top right
  • Center
If the screen is accidentally touched someplace other than the center of the "X" during calibration, the Reader device will display a message stating Calibration error detected. Please restart calibration process .
If this happens, please start again in the top left corner and touch the stylus to the center of each "X" as it is displayed, being careful not to touch any other part of the screen. After the sequence is completed the Reader device will display Touch Panel calibration completed . Click OK to continue to the next step in the setup process.

Recalibrate process

This error indicates that an issue occurred during the calibration procedure. Follow this procedure to resolve this issue.
1. Using the stylus, tap the "X" to restart the calibration process. 2. Tap the center of each "X" that appears on the screen. 3. When "Touch Panel calibration completed" is displayed, click "OK".
After performing the above steps, the issue should be resolved.
If the issue still persists, perform a soft reset. To soft reset the Reader, press the RESET button using a sharp-pointed object.
If unfortunately the issue still didn't resolve, service of the Reader may require. Follow the below link to initiate the repair:

Calibration of my MobilePro off

We've put together some useful tips on calibrating your MobilePro * When calibrating your touch screen be sure to use the same amount of pressure that you apply during normal use. In general, the lighter the better. This allows the screen to recognize taps consistently. * When calibrating your touch screen hold the stylus over the calibration point until it moves to the next point. Holding it for this period will lead to greater accuracy than just tapping the spot quickly. * When calibrating your touch screen support the screen from the back with your other hand. Try not to grasp the screen from the side with your thumb on the front. * When calibrating your touch screen do not let anything other that the stylus accidentally touch the screen. For example, don't rest part of your hand on the screen to help steady the stylus. * Once you've completed the stylus calibration, be sure to perform the double tap calibration as well. This will ensure greater accuracy.
