Water in the viewfinder.

A speck of water seems to have got into my viewfinder. Noticed when it fogged up the other day. Any help as to how to remove it would be REALLY appreciated.

When there is a residue in the water, it most likely will leave a stain or a little fogy spot. Please don't try to remove it. Opening the camera, will make things worse. Try to live with the optical spot. As long as it is not on your pictures.

My husband overfilled the water reserve the other day on way to work. Once at his destination it started to burst out all over the place. after work he forgot to chek it...durrr lol then nxt day I cheked...

well in sounds like the reason it was hot was the thermostat had not opened up yet to allow the coolant to flow and when it went to normal temp is when the thermostat opened which allowed the coolant to flow through the motor and radiator which would take your reservoir down to a low level and that is when you top it off to full. If noticed no leaks you should be fine unless you have a bad thermostat which would make the car overheat. Anytime car gets hot you should turn on the heater to help cool the water temp in the motor, when you operate the air conditioner it makes the motor work harder which in essence the motor gets hotter.

Slow leak

The water pump should have a vent or "weep" hole. If the coolant is leaking from the hole, the water pump is defective. Hope this helped and best wishes.

When i run the heat or air cond. i smell water and windshield fogs up in the middle.

Sounds like your heater core is bad. Have someone check out the heating system and possibly replace heater core.. that should take care of the fog problem also by enabling you to use the defrost... Good Luck!
