In the many years that I have been repairing televisions ( since 1970 ), I have yet to find a closed caption problem that has not been an operator error. Please use your LG remote, on which you will find a button labeled CC. When you press CC is should give you an onscreen message. Press the CC button until you see closed caption C1. If is says T1-4 the tv will be looking for text that it will not find. Closed caption C1 should give you English language when CC is broadcast. FMI please download operators manual from:

Note: Your Kindle Fire lock screen password or PIN is different from your Amazon account password.
Reset Your Kindle Fire Reset your Kindle Fire if you forgot your lock screen PIN or your parental controls password and need to regain access.

If you have any content not saved in your Kindle Library in the Cloud, be sure to transfer that content from your device to your computer via USB.

  1. From Home, swipe down from the top of the screen, and then tap More.
  2. Tap Device.
  3. Tap Reset to Factory Defaults, and then tap Erase Everything.

Your Kindle Fire will restart.

To use your Kindle Fire again, you'll need to connect wirelessly and register your Kindle Fire.

Step 1: Connect the old Kindle to Wireless. Pull down the upper status bar, select More + and then select My Account on the old Kindle
Step 2: Using the Old Kindle, select Deregister under My Account, let the task complete
Step 3: When the old Kindle has Deregistered, then pickup the new Kindle. If you accidentally registered this Kindle Deregister it and then Factory Reset the device.
Step 4: Now the old Kindle is Deregistered and the new Kindle is factory Fresh, let's begin the process.
Step 5: On the new Kindle, let's reboot after Factory Resetting the device. When the device powers back up you should be presented with a login Window. Go ahead and register the device to the same account as the Old Kindle. The sync process should begin automaticlly, it can take up to one full day to sync all your content.
