- Connect to iTunes. Go to the iPhone summary pane and click the "Configure Universal Access" button. Then turn Zoom off.

- Double-tap the phone's screen with three fingers. Then go to Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Zoom and tap the Zoom On/Off switch.

The iphone is stuck on zoom

Are you seeing large icons on your screen? if yes, then just tap three fingers on your screen at the same time. this would put back your iphone to its normal size. chances were, when you grabbed your iphone from your pocket, you unintentionally grabbed it with your three fingers on the screen, zooming in your screen. So the solution here is to tap three fingers again to zoom out.

Please let me know how this works. Thank you for using FixYa.

How to replace convergence ICs in samsung

You will need:
  1. Convergence ICs.
  2. Heat sink grease or thermal compound.
  3. Soldering iron.
  4. Solder lead.
  5. Digital multimeter.
  6. Solder pump.
  7. Small side cutter.
  1. Unplug the unit from the AC outlet.
  2. Remove the screws and take the back panel off the TV. The convergence ICs are located behind a large heat sink.
  3. Remove the board that the ICs are on.
  4. Check all the big resistors on the board using the digital multimeter. Some resistors are connected in parallel so they read half of their nominal resistance.
  5. Check the board for cracked solders and tracks.
  6. Cut all the legs of the ICs and unscrew them from the heat sink to take them out.
  7. Remove all the legs by applying soldering iron on one side and pulling on the other side.
  8. Clean the holes for the new ICs with the soldering iron and solder pump.
  9. Clean the heat sink from the old thermal compound or grease and apply the new one to the ICs.
  10. Fit the new ICs legs on the holes and screw them to the heat sink. Wipe excessive grease. Make sure they are making good contact with the heat sink.
  11. Cut excessive length of legs. Leave about 2mm and solder it in.
  12. Clean solder points with lacquer thinner or even alcohol.
  13. Make sure no solder is going to two legs at the same time.
  14. Put all back together.
  15. You may need to readjust the convergence on the menu.

Hitachi Plasma - green dots

Please read all the info before you start and if you have any question please feel free to message me at or just give me a call @ Cell # 1-503-432-9904 Ask for Dave! What you'll need to do is remove the stand and the back cover. Once you have both the back cover and stand off you'll need to put the stand back on the TV so that you will be able to set the TV up right! Then you will need to locate the Y sustain board. The Y sustain board is the board that is to the left side of the TV if you are looking at the TV from the back side. The Y sustain will have a large heat sink on it 3 1/4 inch's wide and 6 inch's long. There is a small heat sink 3/4's of an inch wide and 3 1/2 inch's long just above the large heat sink. A little to the right of the larger heat sink. The little heat sink also has two large capacitors just to the left of it. Once you have located the small heat sink you will want to look just to the right of it and you'll see two Blue with Yellow centers adjusters.b5e4dcb.jpg You do not want to touch any of the adjusters other then the two that has the location #'s VR1 & VR2 next to them. Please make sure you have located the right adjusters by making sure that the location # next to them is VR1 & VR2. Start with adjuster VR1. Before you make any ajustments take a felt tip pen and make a stright thin line over the top of the Blue with yellow center adjusters. This will help you put the adjuster back in to the factory setting position if you need to start over and it will also give you an ideal as to how much you have adjusted the adjuster. At this point you should have the TV with the back cover off and the TV in the up right position with the stand on the TV. Now you will need to find a friend to watch the screen while you make the adjustment to Location # VR1 & VR2. plug in the TV and turn it on. The TV should be cold, another words if you have had the TV on at all let the TV cool down for about an hour or so before you do the adjustment. Start the adjustment by turning VR1 counter clock wise slowly untill the specs on you screen go way. If the specs on you screen get worse then put the adjuster back in the factory set position and turn the adjuster VR1 clock wise until the specs go away or lessen. In some cases you will not be able to get ride of all the specs but you will be able to lessen the amount of Green or Red specs on the screen. If adjusting VR1 dose not completely clear all the Red or Green pixels from your screen make the same adjustments to VR2! WARNING: Plasma televisions use high voltages to display images on the screen. Be sure to unplug your unit, and then press the power button on the front panel to discharge the capacitors in the unit before beginning to open up the case. Always observe the necessary precautions when working around electrical equipment and never touch anything with your bare hands that may be carrying a stray voltage. By following these instructions you agree to assume all risks involved with the repair of your unit, and agree to hold me harmless of any damages that may result to either you or your television from the following of the instructions on this page. Please feel to message me or give me a call if you have any question regarding the repair of your TV! Thank you! 03.gif Dave All TV Repair Cell # 1-503-432-9904

Just a half picture on the screen

1. Remove the rear cover 2. remove the perforated large shield on the main board housing (almost in center). 3. Unplug the right top fan and temp sensor plugs ( two small plugs at the top of the main board). 4. Remove screwsthat secure the main board housing, there is also four screws by the video inputs. Do not unplug the board, just gently pull it away 6 to 8 inches. 5. Remove the cover with the Top fan attached (more screws). 6. Now the scan board for the top half of the screen is exposed. The board has four large heat sinks with two large Electrolytic aluminum caps next to each heat sink. 7. The problem caps are at the very top right side of the scan board C192 Nichicon 220 uf next to the IC, the other cap is C120 100UF on the lower side of the IC next to a heat sink. I replaced them without taking the board out. C192 is the one that failed, the other one tested OK but I replaced both.
I got the caps from they are 69 cents each, the Mouser part number for the 220Uf is: 647-UUD1C221MCL1GS (Nichicon 220uFm 16V 6.3x7.7 mm surface mount); the 100uF is:647-UUD1E101MCL (Nichicon 100uF 25V 6.3x7.7mm), both are 105 degree C. I bought two extra spares in case I need them for the future.
Reassemble the unit in the reverse order and you are done. Note if you test it without closing everything, make sure you have the main board shield back on, otherwise the screen will bleed due to the noise from the board. good luck! mine has been working fine.. just like new..

Dropped it into sink

was there water in the sink at the time?
if so check the connections on the base if there is green corrosion on it the the damage is done you will have to find someone who will repair water damaged phones.
If no water and just the drop that caused the prob then try removing the battery while the phone is still turned on this may shock it back
