Question about Televison & Video
I was advised to change the power board as I had to switch the mains on and off to get the TV to move from standby to on. Once done and green light on, I can turn on and off, change channel etc... until it's left in standby over night and the wall switch on/off has to happen all over again!! I replaced the power board and sub power board but the same problem exists with a different board.
Fault to its main board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ . In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
