There are several radio stations in the area which broadcast country or talk

http://radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/locate?select=city&city=Mountain%20Home&state=AR&band=Both&dx=0&sort=freq

You would have to ring each one and politely ask how to get on the playlist.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do i fix my Technics cd player wich only read some original music cd's, most of them just spins and are not recognize, please help me

Hello Pedro!
many old cd-player suffer trouble to read some original cd, this can be the lens assembly worn out or simply dirty on it, to solve this you need to open the player, then remove the disc upper holder if present and clean the lens with a cotton swabs or a simply cloth with alcool. then let it dry for some minutes. If you have compressed air you can free the player from dust.
In some cases is possible also to calibrate the laser power with the specific calibration screw trim placed near the laser lens, for to do this you need patience, move the screw clockwise some degrees and test the disc reading, if no success turn some degrees in the opposite direction until you reach perfect calibration.

I have a Technics SL-PD627 5 disc changer and I want to know is it possible to convert it to read CDs that I have burned from my computer? Thank you

You will probably find that it is the way you are burning the CD's not the fact that they are burnt that is causing your problem.

When it comes to home made audio CD's there are two ways to go:

Method 1 (MP3 CD - only works with newer CD players):
You essentially copy music to the cd as if it were a usb stick and then click write these files to disk. This method allows for (depending on file size) upwards of 100 songs.

Method 2 (Audio CD - the Red Book method):
In method two you burn a cd in the same way that you buy most CD's from the store. This way allows you to add up to 80 mins of music/audio to a disk (method one is limited to file sizes - method two is limited by the amount of time each song takes up).

Considering that the Red Book method was made commercially available in 1982 (the same year as your CD changer), and that the MP3 CD came into play in about 1999 - it is impossible for your CD changer to support the MP3 CD (unless it has been heavily modified).

When I play a song on my mp3 player, the screen displays "unknown."

Mp3 players are programmed to read original & copied songs when you download music into your Mp3. if you copy an original CD (music) to your Mp3, the songs will be displayed along with all the infos of that song, i.e. artist, track #, year, etc. if you copy a CD which contains copied songs from other originals, it will display "UNKNOWN" because original CD's have their own trademarks that distinguishes them from copied CD's or any other CD for that matter...

I have the CD Home Music System. Lately when I

The first thing to try is use a CD lens cleaning disc. The disc has a fine brush that will sweep contaminants away from the lens on the optical pickup in the drive. Also, depending on the design of your system, you may be able to use a clean and dry q-tip or a can of air duster to clean the pickup. Dust contamination is the most likely suspect for your problem and cleaning the drive is the first step you should take before going further. Best of luck!

CD's play in Media Player but not Home/Car CD player ?

If you are using windows Media Player to burn the cd you have to burn to an audio cd. You can only burn to mp3 cd if your car or home system canread them. Wma audio cannot normally be read by car or home audio. The file format is called WAV

Disc changer

Really need some more info on this. Will it not play any CD's or is it off and on and just some CD's? One thing to note is that if you are trying to play MP3 CD's that many older CD players will not read those so make sure you are using pure music CDs and not MP3.

You may want to try buying some compressed air and see if shooting that at the head cleans it off and allows the CD's to read. Compressed air is cheap and is really the only route to go unless you get a new player or have it serviced.
