How to find wireless network name?

Check the wireless router is set to broadcast the ssid .If it is not you will not see the name of the Wireless Network. It should be listed unless the wireless router has gotten hung up try down powering the router for about 10 seconds and power it up again. Check if Windows 8 is in Aeroplane mode.

Want to change server name

This is for Windows servers.

Right click "My Computer"
Click on "Properties"
When the "system properties" window opens, click on the tab: Computer Name
Under this tab you will see a button "Change". Click on this and change the server name (you may have to map new network drives for the end users)
This will require a reboot so you may want to do this after hours.

Forgot power on password

Unfortunatley, you have to reinstall your software from a boot CD if you cannot remember your password. During the Reinstall of windows, it will sometimes ask you if you want to save the documents you currently have in the my documents folder under a different name, depending on which type of windows you are reinstalling. Also, passwords can be Case Sensitive so try that as well.

Disconnect your internet, locate the virus name and stop the processes linked to it. Then run a windows search for it and delete all the hits under that name. Then search for the same name in the registry and delete all the matches it finds. Reboot your computer then reconnect to the internet.
