Question about Canon CLC 1180 Copier
I'm having problems with my Canon printer. After installing new developers I have made 2-3 successful prints. After that, copy operation is interrupted with error E020/0380. INIT of any color interrupts with errors E020/0124, 0224, 0324 ... Do you have any advice how to fix these errors and start using printer.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Hi A service manual below may be helpful.
First, check for broken gears or missing teeth on all the developers. That is usually the cause.
E020 is a toner feed problem to the developer
If the copier is still under warranty. It's better to call up Canon 1-800-828-4040 and have them send out a Certified Technician to fix it.

Did you change the Magenta stater/ developer? A E020 code is saying that the toner desity is low. Try replasing the developer and run the ATDC for Megenta and see if that helps. You may have a problem with the developing ass'y it self. You may be able to take another colors dev. ass'y with the hopper open and see if the code goes away. The sub code 0124 means that it is the Magenta dev. ass'y

If you attempt to print and the orange light flashes 4 times that means the print cartridge is installed incorrectly. If it flashes 5 times that means there is a probalem with the print head-for example: check the little wire holders comparing to the other cartidge slot. Check the print head for dried ink and clean. Be sure that you are remembering to remove the contact tape that is on a new cartridge.
If you can not solve with this info go here and study the FAQ and the support offered by the manufacturer on your specific model.
I hope this helps.

this is an error for the transfer unit or its cleaning section not in proper place slide out the unit as far as it will go.. look inside to the lower left rear frame. there are 2 halfmoon gears sticking out reach in and turn both of those clockwise till they stop . slide unit back in close doors see if it resets good luck

your back up data is currupt, you need to change your p-sens-p value check your door spect for all default value. after that clean your sensors that is found below the black developing assy. take machine off unplug from outlet replug turn machine on DO A GRADUATION ADJUST that should solve the problem / if not unplug the the same sensors , then repeat the first prod.
