Check if a overtemp fuse has beem avtivated. You will need a multimeter. Check for burned wires on function switch and thermostat. And check functionswitch for burn marks. Function switch = main switch

The main oven doesn't heat but the main oven grill function does heat up! I'm not sure if this means the element is no longer working or if it is a problem with the control switch?

Make sure the power is off, then there should be two screws holding the element to the back wall remove them. Pull the element out until you can get to the wires, sometimes a wire will burn off at the connector, if that's the case replace it with a high temp connector if not disconnect both wires and do a continuity check on the element

My electrolux EOD 3360 bottom oven is getting too hot. The oven temperature light stays on even at the lowest setting or defrost setting. The inside of the oven is literally roasting hot, and anything I...

1 . If your ELECTROLUXfan oven is getting warm but takes a very long time to cook or is burning thefood more on one side than the other, then you need to check if your oven fan motor isworking you will see the blade turning fast if it is ok. if the element isheating but the fan motor is notblowing the heat into the oven then you need To replace the oven fan motor is alittle more expensive and a bit more involved.
2 . If you have the opposite problem i.e. your ovenis over heating and burning everything then you will need to replace your ELECTROLUXoven thermostat
3. A quite common and easily overlooked answer isif your ELECTROLUX oven is not working at all i.e. noheat and no fan then the chances are that someone has put the oven timer into AUTOmode, simply put oven back to MANUAL mode and all should be working again.

Main oven no longer heats up, fan is working but no heat

Hi,
This is most likely the main oven heating element that is defective.
They do last between 4 - 8 years before burning out - sometimes longer.
Check your make and model and look online for replacements.
Fitting is fairly straight forward DIY - just pull the fuse for the cooker first, and check it is off before opening up.

The only other fault it can be is the thermostat switch. You should be able to test this with a multi-meter when checking the oven element.

Remove power and observe standard safety precautions before testing.
