Perhaps the terminal grease, supposed to be between the processor and the cooling body, has dried out, or is not there anymore. I would switch the laptop of till this is solved, to avoid damage on the processor.

The fan on my laptop is not working at all my computer keeps overheating and turns off

Probably your fan is full of dust. You have to disassemble your laptop and use an air blower to clean it. Or go to a local repair shop.
Fun not running means your cpu is overheating, and it automatically shuts down your laptop. You have to repair it as soon as you can, otherwise you risk frying it all.

The above as over heated and seems to fail after about ten minutes of being on this is an intergrated card can it be fixed without replacing the motherboard it is in an asus laptop.

I suspect that your cooling fan has stopped working or the sealing mating between the fan surface and the CPU is not intact. These fans quit working because dirt and grime gets into the fan shaft and friction slows the fan . also if the fan gets accidentaly moved on the CPU, then this breaks the heat transfer tape between the CPU. This over heating causes the CPU to fail. Open the machine and observe if the fan is running correctly.

I have a 1999 Oldsmobile Alero GL Sedan that is overheating. Where is the problem?

check coolant level, make sure car have half antifreeze and half water,if coolant level okay, car overheating when starting up driving is faulty thermostat and radiator cap.if car over heat while sitting in long line of traffic.your coolant temperature sensor could be faulty, or coolant fan fuse blowed or relay failed.hot wire cooling fan if it works, problem is the wiring or pcm, if every thing working okay.check engine oil if look like milk shake or you have a lot white heavy smoke coming out the exhaust, you have a blowed head gasket.

Turning off in 2 minutes automatically

My guess is that the fans inside the computer have stopped working, thus leading to the overheating. AMD processors generally run "hot" (50 to 60 degrees Celsius) even with proper fans.

Take your computer to a qualified technician, for a cleaning, and proper trouble-shooting, and repair, before the overheating causes permanent damage.
