I have an annoying alarm going off in my fridge and the freezer temp flashes between -14 & -22. How do I reset this to where it was i.e., -19 and stop that noisy alarm?

I am still looking with no luck.
Do you have the manual or a warranty?
The user guide should state why alarms go off.
Perhaps a local appliance dealer might offer free advice.
Unfortunately something could be breaking down and the alarm is alerting you to a thermostat problem.

Testimonial: "Thank you for your advice. The fridge and freezer stopped working then after turning off and on once more at the power point it reset and gradually came back to the right temperatures. Also the alarm stopped!"

Whirlpool WBM39MW alarm when door opened

Just had one of these with the blinking light, fan pulsating and no cooling. The fault is the power supply section in the control module at the back. It is a 2uF 400VAC capacitor going open circuit. make sure you replace this capacitor with something equal or better rated - it is critical
