Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I had great time listening to sound through my USB Insignia Speaker on my laptop , but since couple of days the whenever i connect insignia speakers to laptop through USb port it does not install required drives as it used to and so speakers dont work ??? Pl tell me how do i make these speakers work again...Thanks

Sound like you have a shourt somewere, hard so say I would sudjest to check your speaker wire connection, it is also posible you're computer sound volume is at the lowest.

Go into your sound controls and disable any other playback/recording hardware besides the logitech headset. Yahoo will still mute the headset but you can put the volume back up and start using it. Cheap work around but it works for me. I found that when using the headset, yahoo was trying to use my onboard sound devices instead of the headset.

unless your a very competant motherboard components repairer.
this is beyond repair. i,d suggest taking it to a repair centre, where they will replace the motherboard. and unfortunately a large invoice to go with it. probably more cost effective to look at a replacement laptop.

In case anyone else has same problems go to the sound drop down from control panel. Make the usb speaker the default device and click the properties button. Under 'enhancements' make sure the 'disable enhancements' button is checked then click okay. Speaker should work.
