There's clearly a heat-stressed component in there, possibly something as simple as a badly soldered joint in which a gap opens up due to heat expansion.
It's not that old a TV so may be covered under warranty. If not it's going to need to go into a repair centre where they can find the fault and repair or replace the affected part.
Re-soldering a bad joint isn't always possible in which case the circuit board which it's located on gets replaced instead.

This is the Digital/Analogue input choice. The TV has probably locked up due to a signal failure, try switching the TV off from the mains electical plug, leaving it for 30 seconds, then plug the TV back into the mains socket & try switching it back on.

Try removing the batteries from the remote control, as a button may be stuck and is causing a repeated signal to be sent to the TV, possibly overriding any manual button actions.
Also unplug the TV for a few minutes and then plug it back in. You said that it wouldn't turn on when pressing the channel buttons on the TV, try the power button instead.
