Question about Televison & Video
I have had issues with this television for awhile now. Here is a detailed report of the issues I am experiencing. For over a year now, the television randomly decides to shut itself off. Most of the time, I simply unplug the TV from the wall and hold down the power button for 30 seconds, this usually gets the TV working for several weeks. However, about 6 months ago the TV began throwing error code 32. When it did this, I removed the lamp and cleaned out the area in the TV for dust (there was A LOT of dust in the area and on the fan) After cleaning, the TV worked for a few months. Since then, the TV would occasionally shut down and throw error 32 again (lamp door open), I would tighten the screw and push down on the lamp door to fix the issue. The issue would still come up occasionally (and then would go away once I tapped on the door). This weekend however, the TV kept constantly shutting off and none of my previous methods would work. I then got a error code 12 for THE FIRST TIME (lack of 12v power, check cables) I reset the TV and got error 32 again. I am waiting for error 12 to come back so I can re-seat all the PCB connections however it is still only producing error 32. Does anyone have any suggestions other than re-seating the PCB connections and checking the switch on the lamp door that produces error 32? I have been dealing with this intermittent issue for over a year now, but the problem always goes away before I get to taking the TV apart.

Some of the Mitsu *25's are covered by a factory recall of the optical engine, even if it is out of warranty.
The airflow message is a faulty temperature sensor located near the lamp. Temporary fixes (that will not void your warranty), are as follows:
Find the inlet vent, clean the filter, then place a small fan in front of said filter.
Call a repair company thats an ASC for mitsu, they will replace the sensor (not repair).
Sometimes, when the change lamp message appears, and you try a reset, it does not work. Unfortunately, this is a known problem without a known solution, other than just keep resetting it.

Afraid there is no simple answer to this. This set has multiple things that could shut it down, one may be the balest needs a upgrade , this could be why it seems to be eating lamps. Another is what sounds like a fan is a color wheel , these have known problems of failing, and when this happens sometimes they shut down the set. And finaly does the set have good ventalation, overheating can cause huge problems with this set
