Filling a prescription

Vilma When Your Doctor gives a prescription here in America. They do it in person with a written script. That You take to Your local
{Near Your home addresses Pharmacy.} Hopefully one within walking distance. That way all they have to do is call your prescribing pharmacy that they have the Phone # for, That you have the name of with the address. So that The Doctor can find him in Your neighborhood. Then He will call that pharmacy, and give your prescriptions. Remember to always keep the same Doctor as much as possible unless they are a residency Doctor that is only there for a short time at that clinic. Then they move on to their other locations that they want to work in for the rest of their lives. If You mix the Doctors and the Pharmacies up this confuses them, and Your meds too will be mixed up. So keep everything centralized for clear, and concise information. I hope this helps you.

Did my Doctor place an order this week for quinapril 40 mg ?

You would either have to ask the doctor's receptionist or the company that process your prescriptions direct. Unfortunately this is not the sort of question we can answer for you.

If you reply by COMMENT under my name with the company that do your prescriptions, I will find a contact number. If it is a local pharmacy, let me know company and city or town.

Is it safe to eat grapefruit while taking beta blockers?

In terms of asking health questions about prescription drugs, you should ask that question of the doctor who issued the prescription or the pharmacist who filled it. I would not risk my life on the advice of random strangers on the internet who may not know their elbow from another part of their body. WEBMD.com states that grapefruit can affect beta blockers and to contact your doctor.

My Dr. has given a prescription for Lidoderm Patch, Brookshire Bros. will not fill until Express Scripts confirms ins. Please let me know what the holdup is.

Only you, your doctor, your lawyer or the pharmacy can contact Express Scripts due to the privacy laws. No one else can talk about your medical issues. You have to contact them to find out why they will not fill your prescription.

When wil i get my medication

Your medicine? Was it a prescription that your doctor wrote and you had to physically take it to the pharmacist yourself or did your doctor say the prescription would be faxed or called in? Most doctors are faxing prescription in to whatever pharmacist you told him or her that you use. If that's the case, you need to call your pharmacist and give them your name and sometimes your date of birth, to have them check to see if your prescription has been received and if they have filled it. Some pharmacies actually deliver customers meds to them, not all pharmacies offer this service. I hope this helped.

How can I check on a prescription

I have often wondered what prescription my glasses are exactly. I got them years ago and they still function, so I have never had the need to go back to the doctor. I think the best way to verify a prescription is to see your doctor honestly. They would know how to find that out. http://www.berghwhite.com

I am a bit confused about over the counter options for sleep difficulties. I thought you had to get drugs through your doctor.

Some of the options, alternative and otherwise for sleep problems can be bought over the counter, although generally prescription drugs for sleep problems will require a prescription from your doctor.

Take a look at the article below for some advice about over the counter drugs etc

Can you put prescription lenses into sunglasses frames? I have to get my eyes checked in about two weeks and I've gotten the use out of my current pair of glasses so I'm pushing to get new glasses. My...

Yes it is possible.. Oakley makes RX lenses specifically for some of the frames. the previous poster makes some invalid points in terms of what you are talking about. Oakley makes many more frames than just "sporty" frames that fit tight to your head. Oakley glasses are held onto your head by the shape AND by the hydrophilic rubber pieces (called Unobatnium) in glasses that are less wrapped. You mentioned that these looked like Rx Frames / regular glasses frames. Please note, Oakley makes RX frames, as well.

If you go to Oakley's website and look under Rx Sunglasses, you'll see which can be made with prescription lenses, AND ones that you can have an Optometrist cut regular lenses to fit.

However, please note, many Opticians, have lab do their cutting work and some labs will NOT cut for an Oakley frame. If your eye doc allows you to take him a frame, then he should be able to have it cut. It depends on the lab. It may be easier to find a Optometrist with his won lab on site. Those are places that will custom cut.
Of course, if you, as the previous poster stated, do go with a very sunsglasses / sport model, you'll need to stick with the Oakley specific sport sunglasses lens as the lense curvature may be hard to match.
