Question about Ovens
Does the bottom or main oven have two elements, i.e. one for heating main oven and one for grilling in the main oven, or does it have one dual purpose element? The former would suggest my problem is due to the element not working and if the latter it would suggest the control switch may be faulty. My cooker is roughly 10 years old. Bill
Make sure the power is off, then there should be two screws holding the element to the back wall remove them. Pull the element out until you can get to the wires, sometimes a wire will burn off at the connector, if that's the case replace it with a high temp connector if not disconnect both wires and do a continuity check on the element
