Contact the supplier, explain the situation, and request authorization to return for an exchange. They should issue you some type of authorization number or other documentation, authorizing you to return the unit. If it was from Amazon, for example, contact the supplier from you purchased the unit; you should not have a problem, though in almost all cases, you will have to pay shipping charges.

Maam i think its better to return your unit so that they can check it either its the battery or the unit itself have a problem.And i think is has a warranty,right?

depending on the size of the battery, it can take upto 20 hrs to correctly recharge a lithium battery.
Leave the unit on charge overnight and if it still reads as low battery, return the unit to the place of purchase.

I have an oster destiny cordless clipper...I keep it on the charging unit--it sounds very weak like it is going to die, I haven't even used it today! It is a new clipper...am I charging it wrong?


This Type of clipper has a NiHM Battery with a capacity of 1 hour charge. with no memory side effects. You may just have a defective item. I looked into the manual and did not see any settings for inversion. I think its safe to say it needs service.
