Question about Dell C1765nfw
There is probably a small bit torn off somewhere. Unplug the machine, take the screws off and open up the lower portion from underneath to check. Use a flashlight. Always "fan" a paper ream before placing a pad of paper into the hopper drawer. Using thicker paper helps prevent jambs. Recycled paper, although good for the environment, is not good for printers or copy machines, it contains 20% virgin wood fibre and 80% paper mache'. Recycled paper tears easy as it doesn't have enough fibre to handle the forces of the rubberized spindles along the paper path. Machines that bend the paper twice in the paper path such as HP's are worse at jamming than are Epsons, for example.

Testimonial: "Thank you so much for responding. I have unscrewed the 6 screws, but the lower will not open up; can you be more specific as to what to pull on to look for small piece of paper; trying not to damage anything.' Thanks Queen"
