Question about Honeywell Electronic Programmable Heat/Cool Thermostat - CT3300A100 Heater
Today is Tue and it displays Thu. I have read the Operating Manual and quick installation guide with no luck. Some functions do not appear in the display to get to the DAY change function to change the day. Any suggestions would be great. If I take the batteries out and uninstall the thermostat, will it reset back to factory settings?
It calculates the day based on the year/month/day of the month in the system setup. The first time it is powered on, it asks for year month & day of the month. After that you can get back into setup by: press & release the left button/ then press & hold the cente button until the screen changes (5 seconds). Now you see a number in the middle (function) and a number on the right (the items you can set). use the center (next) button to move up through the functions. 0120 is the 1st half of the year it should be 20 - function 130 is the second half of the year 15. ( use the up/down arrows to adjust if needed). 0140 is the month and 0150 is the day of the month. after you finish correcting the press the right button to save & exit.

I have had the same problem- twice. It was a similar but different problem each time. The -AC means the ac control voltage isnt making it to the thermostat. In my case both times it was a switch in the control circuit that wasn't closing properly. The easiest was the front cover switch. If the front cover is removed from the furnace or has vibrated loose, the switch will open, preventing the furnace from running. The other instance I ran into was a flow switch on the exhaust blower which ensures the there is flow OUT the chimney. The switch wasn't functioning, so the furnace wouldn't start. The blower would come on for a short time, but the burners wouldn't light.
Hope this helps,

the cover pulls off if it has a green screen then most likely takes batteries if does not light up then no batteries with a small piece of insulated wire jump from green to red if indoor fan does not come on then transformer bad

press run program.... from there, set the schedule for maximum efficiency. permanent hold only shows up after the hold button has been pressed 2-3 times. If this does not fix the issue, there is a master reset button on the thermostat that will set all settings back to factory default.
