I had the same trouble with my Pendo Pad which I thought was charging but next day when I plugged it in again it came on so you could try that. Don't know what it was but it is now fine except for the error message. Hope that helps.

Unfortunately if there are no lights on the charger itself there is no way to tell. If you are just getting a blank screen and no indication that the LEDs behind the screen are lighting up or anything is happening at all, you may have a mechanical hardware failure. This could have been caused from water, a drop or some other hazard like extreme heat.

Your best bet is to find a local PC repair shop that services tablets or contact the manufacture and arrange a service ticket.

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Last time my son was playing with his pendo pad his tablet shuts down itself and cannot be charged.. not working obviously

I would try another usb cord and wall adapter. If this does not work, you can find out if the tablet is still under warranty. If it is not covered then you will have to find out if it is better to repair or replace the tablet. You probably want to install a case and screen protector on the tablet he ends up using.

Trouble charging a Digland 10.1" tablet

Did the charger that you are using come with the Tablets? Many 5 volt chargers can only output a 0.5 to 1amp current, while a Tablet typically needs 2 to 2.5 amps charging current. So, if you're using a charger from some other device, then it's almost certain that it cannot provide a sufficient current for the Tablet, and the charger overloads, shuts down cools off, turns on again, overloads again, shuts down etc repeatedly - giving the exact symptom you are reporting.

Even if the charger did come with the Tablet, some of the Chinese ones are of very poor quality and cannot provide reliable service. A replacement charger rated to suit your Tablet (there should be something in the specifications that came with the Tablet listing the requirements for the charger) should solve your problem {:o)

Asus Memo Pad HD 7 won't turn on or charge.

1. how old is your tablet 2. have you tried another charger such as a phone charger. My blackberry charger works fine for my tablet. Also with your tablet you should have had a usb cable that connected from mini usb to the asus plug in transformer.

Restore factory settings for a pendopad

I have resolved the pendo pad hard reset lack of procedure and can factory reset a pendo pad that is locked with a passkey or and password full factory reset

First download you pendo pad firmware from here

http://shop.pendo.com.au/index.php/su...

I used the generic firmware 1 download and it worked fine for the TPC7SlV
Then Extract the . img file to you computer

Then you will need the firmware update too called rktools found here

http://download1942.mediafire.com/le9...

extract the zip file to your computer

Now your ready to flash the firmware

1. Power off your tablet with the switch
2. Turn the power switch Back the the on Position
3. Press & hold Side Button with the home picture also called the back/esc key
4. While holding, connect PC and tablet with USB cable (if tablet boot normally, try again)
5. Install the driver for your computer included in the RKtools Folder
6. Tablet should be recognized as "RK281X Device" in Windows
7. Start RKAndroidBatchUpgrade from rktools folder
8. In the bottom of the batch RKAndroidBatchUpgrade programme there should be a green light in the device upgrade area. * if there is no light in the upgrade area and all the numbers are grey then repeat the previous steps
9. Under the setting heading click and select the image file you downloaded from pendo ( will be a .img file if its a .zip file you need to extract it)
10.Click the upgrade button
11. wait till operation is completed

BAM Your pendo is password free, i hope i have created the best and easiest way to do this

***Please note if your wireless or Mobile network do not turn on then you have chosen one of the wrong firmware types from the pendo download site !!! the wireless and mobile network hardware are the only distinguishing features between the firmwares apparently******

My Child Pad won't come on. My dad thinks it's something to do with the screen but I'm not so sure. Why won't it come on and how can I fix it?

Hi,
I think I may be able to help you. So the same prob;e came with my childpad. Just remember as long as it does not work have the password with you. Because my works now but I forgot the password. So I opened the back blue thing. And then I figured that the charging thing was to loose. So, I just have to make it so that the charger won't come out, so some how my dad make it tighter. But I think that might be the problem with yours as well. If you have a solution to my problem (forgot password) please email me at hinazaheer1@gmaill.com Thanks!! And I hope it helped in some way :)
