The most common reason for this code is :-

F51 error is caused by a faulty or blocked heater pressure switch. It is not a job for an unqualified person.

How do you reboot anapp

You can remove the app from an iPad, by keeping your finger a few seconds on the app. When they app start wiggling, toy can press the top left x and answer yes, to remove it. Then from the App Store download the same app again. You see it with a cloud symbol, because you already bought it.
To reset the iPad, just press both the on / off switch and the home button for 10 seconds. The screen goes black and a few moments later the Apple loge appears. Wait till it is gone and a few moments later, you can press the on of button again.

If the lens got stuck, you have a problem. It can be caused by many things. A broken sprocket, a broken gear, just a little dent in the lens barrel, dried out grease and many other things. Even a defective motor or just a bad contact or a broken connection can be the cause. Non of them can be repaired by yourself. Sometimes, tapping the camera on the palm of your hand, could solve the problem (temporarily), but don't bump it to hard, or you could damage it beyond repair. Tap it with the lens barrel down ward, asif you want to tap it out. But only in a few occasions it really would work. If the battery has enough power, to switch the camera on, pulling it through a setup and displaying the error message, the battery should not be the cause. Getting out the battery and replacing it after a few moments, could reset the error, so i tries again to switch on normal. But if the error keeps coming back, I think it is wise to start saving for a new camera. Most camera's on the market now, perform better and will cost a fraction of what you paid a couple of years ago.

I Have a Hotpoint BCI450 - it was conneccted by a previous owner and we do not have the instructions. A few nights ago the washer stopped washing 1/2 way through a progaram leaving a few inches of water...

The problem is associated with the main program controller unit and so it is needed to remove the panel and see if there is any moisture present that had caused the error.
Leaving if off overnight would have resetted the machine or made the panel OK.
So after cleaning if the panel does not work to trigger the inlet then the controller unit must be checked.

Ask a garage to reset your computer, could be a recurring trip fault causing the car to shut down.

Clearing it might solve the problem - if not, the fault codes will tell you what the problem is!

Depending on the model you may have a reset point on the selector switch dial.
This is usually indicated by 2 or 3 black dots on the dial.
If it has , then switch the m/c off, set the dial to one of these points, switch on and wait until light fashes, switch off, and reselect your programme.
It should now work normally.
If it does not, then there is probably a control board fault.
If there is no reset point, then again it is likely to be a control board fault.
Please rate my solution.
Thankyou.

Fault code F 51

ON many machines with electronic controls, when a fault code shows, it is because something happened but is not necessarily still a fault, yet the electronics is not set-up to recognize whether the problem still exists. You need to remove the code in most cases and all is well again. Unplug the machine and wait 2 minutes. Then replug it.The electronics usually will reset to normal.

Those control boards are sort of flakey and any kind of power surge, etc. can really goof them up. If you check under the very bottom of the fridge there should be a technical sheet taped up to the underside in a plastic bag. Take that out and read it to see if there is a test reset you can do before replacing the board.
