SOURCE: Hot point side by side electronics not operating damper

See if you have some paperwork on how to test, etc. located in a plastic bag taped up to the underside of the fridge. Pull the front vent cover off and you should see (feel) a bag taped up there with the test paperwork in it. If you don't have it let us know and maybe I can email it to you.

SOURCE: ge after replace fan still fan not working

Something to check for. Is the top of the refrigerator door lower than the freezer door? If so the ref. light may not be turning off all the time. Pull bottom panel off to expose hinges. The ref hinge should have an adjuster. Adjust door up to be level with freezer.

SOURCE: over temperature reset button keeps ringing and blinking

I called the KitchenAid customer support number. Found out that control goes off when the temperature of the fridge is above 48 degrees (i.e., over a few days, the food would be spoiling). This is not the case for ours, since everything seems to be working fine. They said there is probably something malfunctioning with that button/control, and there is no manual turn-off mechanism. We have to call someone to come and fix it.

I have a frigidaire side by side model GLHS37EHSB7 refrigerator makes a continuing beeping sound what could be wrong?

Fridge keeps beeping: The following is for Frigidaire models but others can be addressed similarly.

Several Frigidaire refrigerator models have an electronic control panel on the freezer door the owner can use to adjust the internal temperature, dispense ice and water and receive notification about issues such as the need to replace a water filter. The refrigerators also emit a beep for various actions and as an occasional alarm. Determining what causes the beeps necessitates some troubleshooting.
Temperature Controls ·A Frigidaire refrigerator's display panel blinks when the control panel is touched to set temperature controls. After pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, press the arrow buttons within five seconds to increase or decrease the desired temperature. If you do not press the arrow buttons within five seconds after pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, the refrigerator beeps to indicate the current setting will stay in place.

Door Open ·When you leave the refrigerator or freezer door open, the refrigerator beeps. Also, the "Door Ajar" indicator illuminates on the appliance's display panel. Shutting the door and pressing "Alarm Reset" stops the beeping and turns off the "Door Ajar" indicator light.
·The Frigidaire refrigerator has a control lock feature that prevents use of its control panel or dispensers when the unit is locked. When the control lock is active, a beep sounds when a keypad or dispenser is pressed. Release the control lock by pressing the "Control Lock" icon for three seconds. A beep will sound, and the icon's light will go out.
Power Reset ·A power reset is occasionally necessary if the Frigidaire refrigerator's control panel does not work normally or a reset function on the keypad does not work. A power reset involves disconnecting power to the refrigerator by unplugging its power cord from the electrical outlet, waiting 30 seconds and plugging the power cord back into the electrical outlet. When the control panel resets, a beep sounds. If the refrigerator beeps even after a power reset and the beeps' source is not known, contact Frigidaire.

MY FRIDGE IS BEEPING AND IS NOT COOL

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand you Frigidaire refrigerator, model# GLHS269ZDB, is beeping and not cooling. Please try resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power, give your appliance 24 hours for the temperatures to stabilize and keep an eye on the temperatures. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

My frigidair fridge keeps beeping and wont turn on

Hello Brent, thank you for allowing me to assist you. When the refrigerator is beeping or buzzing, it may be a warning sign of a possible malfunction or an unsafe, interior temperature. To silence the beeping, you can depress the ALARM OFF button. However, if you have already done this, try unplugging the unit or flipping the household circuit breaker for about ten minutes.

I certainly hope this troubleshooting tip resolves your concern, if the alarm continues; it could possibly be experiencing a communication problem with the temperature control/board or wiring failure.

Should you need further assistance you can go to the manufacturer website to find a service provider in near you. If there is anything else that I can help you with, please feel free to reconnect!

Sounds like a repair tech needs to diagnose the control board for a replacement. Make sure the temperatures inside are not increasing so you don't lose food items.

What is causing my refrigerator to run warm...its a side by side and the middle area between the doors gets hot at times...the inner temperature of the refridgerator part doesnt cool down as much as it...

The outerside of the refrigerator is always warm due to the PUF insulation material being used currently. So the middle area should get little more hot, comparative to the sides. However if you are facing cooling problems, for now turn the thermostat a bit lower also check if the water draim pipes are clear. If it really struggles to keep it cool have tha amount of refrigerant gas checked to see whether its full or not..............................sodeep

Power and no lites in refrig/freezer; beeping

depending on age of unit, the problem may lie in the light bulb, well the door closing anyway, the newer unit s actuall will shut down all interior lights, in the evnet that teh door is left open for more then 2-3 min, so its possible that a light switch is not being activated so the uit thinks the door is open and has shut down the rest of lights, cooling however does continue normally.
