These are 2.0 speakers. There is no sub.

Testimonial: "In order to express myself, I will sound like a six year old, as I don't understand tech stuff. The speakers come with an attached box that is plugged into a master speaker port labelled sub output. In recent past, this box contributed to the bass and greatly enhanced output. It no longer provides any sound whatever."

Connecting a car stereo to an amplifier

you have to connect your 4 speakers to 4 speakers output direct to your car stereo no need of amplifier to 4 speaker but speakers should be small not like a woofer, and you have to connect your sub woofer by using amplifier don't connect direct. connect the output of your car stereo (using 2 RCA) to the 2 RCA inputs of amplifier. If u connect your 4 speakers to your amplifier then your car stereo does not support Left Right channel.
You can also connect your laptop or iPod direct to your amplifier.
Good Luck

HELLOOOOOO HOW CAN CONECT MY SUBWOOFER

Your problem is quite simple. The low input is for feeding a lead straight from the output of your receiver IE sub out and the high input is for connecting the sub directly to your speaker output where the alternative is not possible. Hope this helps

Dayton sub-100 connection

You have it upon one of several truly odd "standards" in the AV industry but the answer is simple if not quite logical. You will use an RCA type cable from the Sub out or LFE on the receiver to just one of the two inputs on the subwoofer. I usually use the one on the right but it really doesn't matter. The other connectors would be for a system with out a sub out where the speaker wire would be run first to the subwoofer and then out to the speakers. This will not be used at all in your case.

Subwoofer.......

Please check your model number, I can not find it on the JVC service website.

This is a powered sub-woofer I think. You need to have a thick black cord that connects the sub to the head unit. Then the satellite speakers get connected to the speaker jacks on the sub-woofer box. The sub-woofer should also be plugged into an A/C outlet on the wall.

The speaker outputs are labeled right there where you connect the speaker wires. You should see a red and black connector for each speaker and they are labeled "front right" "front left" "center" "rear right" "rear left".

If you do not have the thick black cord you need to connect the head unit with the sub-woofer, you can not use this system.

If you look at the head unit and give me the model number on it, I may be able to find the part you need. But I must have a good model number to work with, preferably from the head unit.

Power shuts off

The unit is in "protect" mode. Basically a problem is detected in the last output stage of the amplifier section and the unit shuts down to prevent further damage. I suspect that you connected too many speakers to the system. The impedence load was too low for the amp section to handle and one or more output transistors have failed. This should be a straightforward repair for any local repair shop. Figure on $20-$40 for parts plus the local labor rate for the repair. I am not familiar with your specific model, but these shelf units are all similar in design. I will try to locate the service manual for this one to get you more details.

Infinity PS-10 quit working

I think the electronics have a 3 years warranty and the drivers have a five years warranty for this product, maybe you can have it replaced. Maybe the auto on/off signal detector is the culprit.
