When you get the menu up, use the up and down arrows to highlight different options. You probably don't want" VCR". On mine, it is something like HDMI I. Don't be afraid to chose the wrong one because if your television does not come on, then press "menu" again and try something else until you get there. Then when you do, you may want to write it down. :)

Do you have the input turned on that you use the xbox for? Try different inputs as well. If you are getting the menu to come up, the blue screen is telling you that you don't have a signal being run through that particular input.

MY TV SIGNAL HAS CHANGED TO ANOTHER COUNTRY I DON'T KNOW HOW BRING IT BACK TO WERE IT WAS

Open the menu and when the auto programming is selected you must choose you local transmission type, it can be PAL/SECAM/NTSC , please check with your local area as this was not mentioned. Also the audio settings must be done according to the transmission and frequency or else the sound will not be heard.

Hi, I bought this tv at thrift shop last week. No instruction manual available. I got cable from Time Warner. Got the cable signal and got tv working. 3 days later no cable. I don't know how to...

If using a cable box then you want to set the TV to channel 3 or 4 as the cable box will output to one of those. If no cable box then its possible the TV's tuner is bad or your cable company only transmits in digital form requiring a cable box since this TV only has an analog tuner

The New TV.don't come on, keep showing no signal, don't know what is wrong, can you help us, to get it going. thank you

Hello,

The TV is turned on. The TV showing "no signal" is an indication that is turned on. Its just that the TV is not recieving any signal whatsoever from an antenna, DVD player or dish.

I suggest you connect thee TV to a DVD player. Click source on the TV remote to AV 1. Use a RCA (yellow white and red wire) for the connection.

Yellow stands for video and white and red stands for audio. Connect yellow to "vidoe out' from the DVD player to 'video in' at the back of the TV. Do the same for the audio white and red.

Now there should be a display on the TV. If there is not display, check your connection.

Let me know if need more help.

Your sincerely.

I don"t know where my manul is and the tv switches from tv to dvd what do i do. It is a highdef 1080p please help

Go into the menu and shut off the autoscanning. When it detects a lack of signal (like a dark spot between commercials or a DVD loading up) it confuses it for no signal and thinks it should switch.
