SOURCE: How can I benefit from using an adjustable bed?

Why choose an Adjustable Bed? Adjustable beds (also referred to as electric beds) offer additional features driven by electrical motors designed to help you move in bed, support your position in bed or get in and out of the bed. The features are operated using a hand control and powered by mains power.

Adjustable Beds will help you:

• Sleep better
According to the Royal College of Psychiatrists, getting a good night's sleep is critical to our physical and mental health as well as our quality of life and Adjustable beds can help promote just that.
Many of us will have struggled to stay alert after a sleepless night, but few realise the long-term impact of sleeplessness. That's why it's so important to do everything we can to make sure we sleep well each and every night.
Adjustable beds have been proven to aid and encourage natural sleep cycles so that you wake up feeling more alert and rested.

How do I program a Craftmatic 1 adjustable bed wireless remote?

The remote control should have several small dip switches inside it. Locate those switches and note their positions. Now find the receiver location on the bed. You will have to open it to find the same switches as the remote has. Now move the switches on the remote to match the switches in the receiver. Once you do that the new remote will work.

My Craftmatic Adjustable bed does not stay upward after adjusting it (head or foot). It just slowly sinks back down.

Hi. Most likely a faulty switch in the hand piece. I had a hoist in for repair the other day doing a similar thing. The down switch was being pressed by the covering on the handpiece. You might be able to find someone in a local electronics store to look at it or buy a new hand piece. Try raising the bed and then unplugging the hand piece and see if the bed stays up. Good luck. Neil.
