Problem is now resolved, the heat exchanger has 2 wires a purple and a black. the black wire was broken where the door is hinged from. There is a plastic wire protector/strengthener just where the control wires in the door go into the bottom of the dishwasher, what looks to be happening is the constant bending at this piont has snapped the wire due to metal fatigue.

SOURCE: beko dishwasher

test the element for open circuit first, if all is well find and test the cut outs, could be up to 3 on a dishwasher located anywhere, if all well check for a broken wire inside the door, remove the front door skin to check, the wire if broken will be broken just above the door hinge

work safe unplug from power supply when testing etc

SOURCE: Kenmore Dishwasher #587.... doing nothing but heat dry

The problem appears to stem from the float and float switch. The float is a mushroom shaped plastic part that resides on the bottom left, just inside the door. It appears that the float does not release the float switch, causing the dishwasher to think it is full of water, and won't allow the dishwasher to fill. It's a relatively straight forward repair, but even with a new part, the same scenario is likely to repeat itself until the float or float switch is modified by Kenmore.

LG LDS581 dishwasher HE error mid cycle

HEATING (ELEMENT) ERROR // Water heating error
The manufacturer has assigned this error or fault code to indicate a problem with the water heating circuit. Turn off the circuit breaker to the dishwasher for 30 minutes, allowing time for the appliance to cool; then restart the cycle. If error returns, check the heating element for continuity and check the wiring harness for any obvious signs of damage. If the heating element shows infinite resistance after testing with an Ohm meter, replace it.

I have beko dishwasher works fine but no hot water is it just the element which needs replacing or could it another problem MODEL DWD4310S

How far is your water heater from your dishwasher. I knew someone who had to get a circulating pump. His dishwasher was so far form the water heater so when the dishwasher would fill, it used the cold water that is sitting in the pipes and by the time the hot water got there, the dishwasher didn't need any more water. the pump will keep the water circulating back and forth to and from the hto water heater. Or you an get one of those electric small heaters that heat on the spot as well.
