My hayward swimpro abg100 powers on but nothing happens. I can hear a buzz coming from it but it does not ignite or anything. What can I do?

Warranty status? Probably gas control valve and its connections to the "buzz" ignitor system. Gas is not a DIY thing!

My 95 thunderbird makes a ticking after it is started,it continues for about 5 minutes and stops. Also it happens sometimes when I turn on the air condition. The heater also will not turn on. What co

Heater does not come on for a few minutes on purpose. The system waits until engine coolant is warm so fan not blowing cold air on you. The ticking can be the heater waiting to get turned on (air door closed) if sound seems to be coming from dash. System should work right away if you use A/C though.

Pilot light keeps going out when we turn heater down, not sure why and what numbers selection means, please help

You didn't mention what type of heater it is. If it is a gas heater then the problem is most likely the thermocouple. This is because there must be a standing flame that keeps the end of thermocouple hot which in turn lets the gas valve stay on and that lets the gas to the burners.

Good luck,

We have a jandy Lite2, when turning on, you hear the igniter firing, and seconds later everything stops and the pool is not being heated!!

Does the heater fire up at all? If the igniter is ticking that means that it is trying to fire. The problem can be as simple as a clogged pilot orifice. Otherwise the gas valve may not be opening due to a bad wire telling it to open, or the gas valve has failed.

Also, double check that the gas cutoff valves at the gas meter and the one next to the heater are open, valve handle in line with pipe. Closed, the handle is perpendicular to the pipe. They have been known to shut themselves!

When I turn on the heater the service heater light turns on after about a minute, it's like the gas never ignites, I think the error code is n 5? Any suggestions

If you are firing, and then going off and getting an E05, your igniter is to blame. It may be glowing but it's getting weak. There is further diagnostic goes further but that is usually the fix.
Sometimes, when a heater has not been used in awhile, the igniter is always to blame. You really need to fire it off weekly to make it reliable.
But, lets say that the igniter has failed completely, then you would need to replace the igniter.
For a better diagnosis, we would need to know some additional information:
1) Is the heater natural gas or propane? 2) Do you smell gas at any time in the 5 minutes the heater is trying to fire? 3) If you listen closely, can you hear the "tick, tick, tick" of the igniter?
If you are able to provide us this additional information, we will be able to provide you with some more detailed ideas on what is going on!
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to help and we really look forward to your feedback!
