Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

How to cancel membership

If you're asking about cancelling/stopping mails from websites then you need to open the email and at the bottom there should be a link that says unsubcribe, click and follow instructions.

Unsubscribe

Have you opened the email you want to get rid of and gone right to the very end .. The unsubcribe link for most unwanted email is very small so goes unnoticed. failing that click on the mail then go to files and select delette forever/spam . the only problem with using a strong spam flitter is sometimes emails you want to recieve get redirected to your spam folder so youll need to check it every so often so that you dont miss emails you want..

Unsubcribe , not found on web page ...also getting 150 to 200 spams a day , what to do

If you have a free email account (gmail, juno, yahoo, etc.) just get a new address. Juno will send you email on behalf of their advertisers and these do not contain unsub options. And they won't stop, so just cancel your account and go to gmail where they have no unsolicited spam advertizing. Alternatively, you could do what I had to do on my business account and track down the owners of the domains sending the spam emails as well as the company hosting their services. I politely requested an end to the emails and when I got the next one I forwarded it to their own email accounts. It is not too difficult to track down the info needed, just do a WHOIS search on the domain name, i.e., go to www.whois.net and enter the domain (such as fixya.com) and you will be presented with the registrant's info. In some cases...such as the example here, you will be directed to another domain registrar (GoDaddy) and search there. In this example you will locate an email address for the domain administrator (shilon@fixya.com). A firm and well-worded request followed by an inbox of their own junk did wonders. I now receive NO more spam. Good luck.

How do I cancel this account, and NOT recieve anymore e-mails?

Fixya is a good email steward. They provide a way to unsubscribe to the emails at the bottom of there communication.
You can unsubcribe to the emails by clicking on the Unsubscribe link in your last email.
It looks like this:
"You have received this email because you have requested to be notified by FixYa.com each time there is a new post regarding your Problem. If you do not wish to receive any further emails from FixYa, please unsubscribe here."

In my spam email I received notice my account was being closed and if I wanted to stay active I needed to send information. Is this a legitimate request? I have been receiving many scam emails and want to...

Most definitely a phish. Don't respond to it but do go to Yahoo's mail site and check your account there. DO NOT CLICK ANY LINKS IN EMAIL! You could end up anywhere. Delete all suspicious mail - do not click on the "unsubcribe" link. You're just telling them your email address is active and they aren't going to unsubscribe you from anything.

I need help unsubscribing from this FixYa? please help

I suppose if you were really getting sick of it you could just direct your FixYa account towards a separate email...one that you check less often. Easy to do this, simply click "My Profile" at the top, then click "edit Profile" and from there you can just change the email that's associated with FixYa
