The LCD display screen is cloudy on one side so difficult to read part of display. Is there a way we can remove it and clean the glass?

I don't have your model number to look up but I'll try to answer. Most digital displays have 2 parts to the display cover. The actual display and sometimes a clear or green plastic cover to help protect the actual display. That type system can usually be removed and cleaned. Some of the newer systems have eliminated the extra cover, so if moisture is getting behind the display you can't clean it. If it is actually moisture, applying heat from a hair dryer may help get rid of some of it but be careful you don't get it too hot and melt the display.

Moisture and electronics dont mix. You can take it apart very carefully and air dry it for 24 hours. Sometimes corrosion eats at the solder points or causes a short between two points. If you like taking things apart, you can check and clean the board and battery compartment with alcohol and a q-tip. The biggest issue is not to try to use it until all moisture is gone from it. If you are not confident taking it apart, a service tech will do it. But just basically removing the screws and opening it can be done at home too very easily. Leave the battery out while it dries too. If the circuit board is very corroded, then there is not much that you can do except to have a professional clean it for you. Good Luck

(00000101) Phase 1 - Communications Fault
The Display Module has had difficulty communicating with the Motor Controller.
Primary Source: Display Module.
Action: Turn off at the wall and on again after 5 seconds and try again.
1. Undo 2 screws at the back
Check connections of the 12 way harness for bad contacts,
corrosion etc.
2. Check for moisture in the console area. Dry out if necessary
2. If still faulty, replace the Display Module
3. If still faulty, replace the Motor Controller. If the new Motor
Controller corrects the fault, then refit the original Motor Controller.

LED screen fogs up when an oven and range are on at the same time.

The seal on the display is broke and you will need to replace the board. Eventually it will short out from the moisture. Here is that part to order.

All parts come with a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy.

Our company has started manufacturing frost free display cases for Pastries & cakes. The problem we are facing is we are getting a lot of frost on glasses during the operation cycle. Due to this...

Make up a way to blow warm air from the condenser over the glass and your frost problem will disappear! The higher the temperature of the air - the more moisture it can absorb. The reason you are having the problem is that you are cooling moisture laden air and it has to give up the moisture as you cool it. So run some warm air over it and it will absorb the moisture for you = problem gone.

Hi just read your posting. Now the problem with your machine is the display board. It will be blue in color and under the decal that you push is a switch. If there is a crack in the decal where you press this button then the switch underneath will be corroded due to moisture getting throe the crack.Unfortunately you have to change the display board which the switch is part of the circuit board. If you are in Australia then I can give you the name of a place that repairs them which will save you some money. If you undo the top panel screws you can assess the display board. Please reply on how you got on or if you need help in replacing the display board.Good luck.

My temperture key pad reads updie down

I have 2 of these machines with the digital display, i have been told from a service man that they are faulty in design, what happens is moisture gets behind the digital plastic strip and messes up the circuit board on these, i was told too use a little silicone and go all around the edges of the strip, you can peel back the strip and silicone it good if you like, but that is the cause of our problem, our cleaning lady kept wiping it with a wet rag when cleaning and it got moisture inside, he has replaced many of these strips and said this is the fix...

Display panel on my photosmart 2710

Had the same issue, and used the solution for cleaning the underside glass to get the button and display assembly off - http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericDocument?docname=c00553775&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN

Once you have the scanner lid and button face plate off, put a med. size screw driver in the sqaure hole of the assembly and carefully push down while prying it slighty forward (towards the front). Carefully undo the wires from the molded hold downs on the main case to provide working room. There is metal clip that allows the LCD display to move up and back. It's likely been bent the wrong way and simply needs to be realigned.
