Doors normally do not need adjustment. The hinge pin bushings wear out an and sometimes break they are very hard and brittle. You will find hinge pin kits for your make and model at the local auto parts store.

Hi,over time becouse of the weight of the door with the help of gravity the door drop at the bottom on the lower corner on the lock side.
if this is the case you can reset the top hinge so that the door gose back to its propper persition,it will normaly only need a shaveing taken out of the reses where the hinge fits,so my anser is you can adjust the doors by the hinges as long as the hinges still look ok.
hope this was some help.

if you go to the sears site, look at the bottom of the fresh food door and you'll see the cam.http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action...........the cam raises the door, have you found any plastic pieces near the fridge, the picture of the cam is black, some are white or black, you can also look at the bottom hidge of both doors and you should see the part that's gone or broke.the sears site isn't working correctly,i don't know if it's my computer or the site but i had to go to another site that i use to look up your machine, next time you write in get the model number off of the machine, when you get the model number off of the manual it's a partial number,if you open the fridge door and look up on the right side near the ceiling you'll see a tag with the model and serial numbers, good luck, the fridge door is easy to do,no wires or water lines to deal with, remove the cover on top, remove the screws and lift the door off of the bottom hindge, empty everything off of the door first, then lay it on it's side and change the parts.good luck,if you have any other questions let me know,i'm in the boston area,if you're around here and get stuck let me know and we can come by and take care of it for you.

open the door, with a hair dryer heat up the side of the door near the hidges around a foot up from the bottom of the door.leave the connector disconnected, shut down the controls so you're not blowing hot air into the fridge, your air ducts could freeze up and you'll have a warm fridge or just unplug it until you're down melting out the door, put a paper towel under the hose that's in the door, when the water leaks out of the hose that's in the door you'll know it's clear.the problem is with the door, when the factory blew in the foam in the door the water line didn't get covered and now it freezes, you can call the factory and tell them your problem,i've seen g.e. send out a new door for free,it's worth a call, also there's a heater kit that they came out with.i'll look it up and send it to you

Doors where hard to close without the weather door seals. But with them on they will not close. The body plates more but not enuff on the cab? I need HELP.

Hi!!
The doors Hinges or Striker need to be adjusted to make up for the weatherstrip thickness. To do this, loosen the hinge-to-door bolts for lateral adjustment only. Loosen the hinge-to-body bolts for both lateral and vertical adjustment.
FRONT DOORS 1kbron_78.gif
REAR DOORS

BEFORE YOU START:
  • Determine which hinge bolts are to be loosened and back them out just enough to allow movement.
  • To move the door safely, use a padded pry bar. When the door is in the proper position, tighten the bolts to 19-25 ft. lbs. (26-35 Nm) and check the door operation. There should be no binding or interference when the door is closed and opened.
  • Door closing adjustment can also be affected by the position of the lock striker plate. Loosen the striker plate bolts and move the striker plate just enough to permit proper closing and locking of the door.
TO ADJUST ON A: F-150, F-250, Expedition and Navigator
HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL ADJUSTMENT
  • Loosen the front door hinge to front door bolts.
  • Adjust the front door alignment.
  • Tighten the front door hinge to front door bolts to 19-25 ft. lbs. (26-35 Nm).

FRONT DOOR FORE AND AFT ADJUSTMENT Check the rear door hinge adjustment before adjusting the front door hinge.
  • Remove the front fender.
  • Loosen the front door hinge to body bolts.
  • Adjust the front door alignment to specification.
  • Tighten the front door hinge to body bolts.
  • Install the front fender.

DOOR ADJUSTMENT The following procedure is for performing fore, aft, up, down and tilt adjustments.
  • Remove the door striker.
  • Loosen the bolts only enough to allow for slight door movement.
  • Carefully close and adjust the door until flush with the adjacent body panels.
  • Carefully open the door and tighten the bolts.
  • Re-install and adjust the door striker.
  • Check the door for proper operation and alignment.
STRIKER ADJUSTMENT Mark the position of the striker before loosening.

Kenmore dryer model no. 110.78942892

you have to push it closed but if it's real hard you have a problem,if the door is tilting down when it's open instead of 90 degree angle you could have damaged the hidges or check the screws holding the door on they could of backed out and the door is hitting them

One of the 3 wings fell off inside dryer drum.

unplug the dryer, open the door, remove the two phillips screws that hold the door on,the screws are in the middle of the hidges, look at the other side and remove the two screws that are there, pull off the front panel grabbing it at the top where the top screws were and pull forward the bottom of panel is on clips, just slide the panel up off the clips, now spin the drum until the baffle that you need to repair is in the lower right hand corner and you can get to it there.if the holes are to big for the screws add a washer to stop the screws from falling through the holes, sometimes the screws get ripped through the holes making the holes to big for the screw heads and a washer needs to be added, let me know how you make out

The small flap that closes the area between the double doors is off it's hidge and now sticks. Looks like it slides over the bracket from the top, but the other hidge are secure

Always been a problem. If you can see what you want to do a drop or 2 of crazy glue can work wonders many times, but the correct solution is a new flap. In this case, the appliance parts house is your friend. With the model number in hand, go there and explain your problem to one of the counter men. They see this problem all the time and will get you the parts needed to perform a quality repair.
P.S. If the doors have gone out of alignment, you can sometimes loosen the screws at the top of the errant door, and adjust as needed.

Refridgerator door sags

Its a two person job. One person has to looses up the two hidges holding the door just slightly while the other person holds the door in place. Once in place tighten the screw/bolts for the hidges back up and check. If not aligned, redo it again until it is aligned and seals properly..
Good Luck!
