Question about Echo Garden
The spark plug is wet after a bunch of pulls
Every saw has its own starting quirks. I've got several that require choking while starting hot OR cold and others that start without the choke when hot.... When the choke is used on some while hot, they flood immediately.
Start over fresh with a clean dry plug and after blowing some compressed air into the cylinder to dry out residual gas. Hopefully with a cold saw. Give it full throttle, full choke and try it 8 or 10 pulls. If it doesn't start, pull the plug and check it for wet gas.
If its wet, repeat the above sequence and try with half choke....if no go, do it again with no choke at all.
Somewhere you should find the 'sweet spot' for starting the saw and if not, check the brightness and the strength of the spark. You could be experiencing a faulty coil and not being provided a consistent or bright strong spark. Check the gap between the coil and the flywheel and make sure its where the manufacturer recommends. If the gap is to wide, it will deliver a weak spark or no spark at all.
