How to by pass the oil level sensor on a homelite generator

Don't. This is an engine protection sensor. When the oil gets low, it shuts down to prevent engine damage. If the oil level is correct, on level ground/mount, then replace the sensor.

Oil level

The lower plugs would be your drain plugs. You would fill the gear box with oil up to the highest hole.

4 stroke engine has oil in cylinder

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly,

If this is the LNU25 style engine it has an oil capacity of .08 Liters of oil which if not very much. If someone tipped the engine for cleaning or installation of an accessory you can get oil in the cylinder. with the ignition OFF, clear the oil by squirting either carb cleaner or fuel into the cylinder. Make sure to pull the engine through rapidly with the spark plug removed to clear out cleaning agent. Then clean the spark plug, reinstall the spark plug and re-service the engine oil level. Start the engine and let run until warm. When finished using the tiller and the engine is once again cold inpsect the oil level and the cylinder for oil once again. I think you have a one time incident at the moment. If the symptom happens again prior to your next use just respond here and I will help you.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

Oli spils when lawn mover starts

Check your oil level in the engine, normally if oil starts coming out of the air filter, it means you have too much oil in the crankcase. Drain your crankcase to make it the right level, be sure to check you oil level in the engine on level ground. I hope this helped, Good Luck Please rate me, Thanks

I have a Honda mini tiller FG-100. Haven't used

You need to check your engine oil on a very level surface.

Its all too easy to over fill these engines with oil and the results can spell disaster if not rectified. On a level surface, with the machine level (not tipped forward) the oil should just be reaching the top of the threads for the bung. Any more than that and you have to much in.

This symptom can also be caused of incorrect storage .ie the machine being left on its side allowing oil to fill the exhaust box.

Check your oil level first then run the machine until the left over oil in the exhaust box has been burnt off. I would then advise either replacing the spark plug with a new one or cleaning your existing one and checking / replacing your air filter

Tines rotate until lowered into ground.

You need to adjust the belt tensioner so that there is enough tension on the belts under contact with the earth to till the soil.

How much oil put in husqvarna briggs stratton engine rttiller

Set the mower on level ground and fill until it runs out of the lowest oil fill hole, close it up and you will be fine. The engine has multiple oil fills because it is mounted on a variety of mowers in all different directions. John

Rototiller will not start

paul i assuming you mean the motor stopped running, not the tiller part........? you say the motor turns over easy, suggesting that the motor hung a valve open and you have no compression in the motor.i'm hoping that you checked the oil level before you started and ran the engine. oil level is at the second thead down from the top of oil fill hole. if it was any lower the that you could have ran the motor low of oil causing one of the valves to stick. never had much luck on cleaning the valve stem or valve guide in the head, usualy you need to replace the head assy. they do come as a unit but they are pricey. take the valve cover off and see if both valves will push down into the cylinder. also see if one or the other valves are lower then the other. if you need more help i'll be glad to help you out as much as possible.......
