there are places that replace the face plates. Depends on the brand IF they will do it. I had a HTC that shattered when I dropped it. They wouldn't replace that one, bcuz their experience was.....it wouldn't turn on afterwards. GOOD LUCK...hopefuly u wont have to buy a new one.

That symbol means that the tablet battery is plugged in and is supposed to be receiving charging voltage. If the battery is bad, it may not charge but the tablet will still work with the charger plugged in.
