There should be shut off valves under the sink ( 2 if both hot and cold water)check to see if they're open all the way.also check the risers (water lines between valve and tap).If someone installed a cheap plastic line it could be too small ( easy to change) .

The faucet isn't a sink faucet, it's a bath tub/shower faucet. No shut offs are visible as plumbing is enclosed in the wall. I was hopeful that the front of the faucet would be removable, revealing a control setting. However there is no visible screw to remove the cover/plate. Thanks very much for your effort to try to resolve this matter!

You could also try taking the spout off the tap and clean or replace the "debris screen" if it clogged, that would explain it. Try removing it altogether and running some water, you'll know right away if that's the problem. also, if you have a built-in water filter under the sink that may be it. New filter or servicing could be it too. Hope I helped. Grimm

I am getting no water from the hot side of all my faucets cold water works fine

Sounds like the water inlet valve to your hot water heater has been closed (turned off) If the tank has no water coming in, it can't put anything out.

I have a Moen tub and shower system similar to the Moen 2919 Chateau two handle above. When I turn on the faucets up to 1/2 way everthing works fine. If I try to increase the water capacity by turning up...

To talk about your problem forces me to assume a few things.....If you allow the water to flow without cartridges and handles, the water must be flowing straight through the cartridge channels and out into the tub. It is not flowing through your tub spout or shower head when you test the water this way. If I'm correct, then the problem is isolated to the water mix operation. That means coming out of your spout or shower head. So now I have to ask a question. When you operate as normal (cartridges and handles installed) does your problem show up only on your shower head or does it also show up when operating out of the tub spout? If the problem is isolated to the shower head, try a head replacement. It may be partially plugged. If it's head or spout there may be something in the mixing pipe that only shifts around as pressure increases. I hope that is not your problem. It would require pulling those pipes out for inspection and most likely replacement. Nimsgame

Just installed new Moen kitchen faucet #87540 and get very little water pressure out of it. Please advise.thank you!!!

all newer fixtures have a water savers on them.... they usually have a water flow restriction of some sort that you can take out if you unscrew the head where the water comes out and remover any thing that would restrict the water flow from behind the screen. I have even drilled out the hole wider to increase the flow... just be sure not to drill it so wide that it doesn't function properly.

Hi just moved in new home love it but the water pressure in kitchen is very low but the two baths i have the water pressure is fine can you help me please

One thing you could try is to remove the aerator at the end of the spout on the faucet, Turn water on and see if pressure is any better. If so the aerator is got something in it restricting the flow.
You also can remove the dime shaped flat in the aerator to increase water flow. It looks like a dime with a hole about 1/8" in center to restrict the flow to about 1.6 gpm. Remove it and reinstall aerator and check water flow

Most of the times when cold and hot side of faucet. It would be the first thin to check being you have good water pressure at other faucets. They catch debris and the flow slows down from the faucet's. Check out supply lines and faucet for a blockage if this doesn't take care of the problem.

Check out this web sire for a parts breakdown of parts in faucet. Check out installation and rough in sheet for information on faucet below.

Low pressure on hot water setting.

You almost had the problem solved. After you back flush the faucet you need to disconnect the line just before the faucet and then run the water into a bucket or down the drain until the line is flushed out. Depending on the size and amount of debris in the line you may have to flush the line further back until you get all the junk out.
The white crystal like substance is scale, a build up of minerals from your water. It might be worth your while to check into a water softener. Most water softener companies will do free water testing to help you determine if you need one. Beware of the high pressure sales gimics though.

I believe I have a delta monitor shower faucet. I am wondering why the hot water pressure is less than the cold water pressure. Also, I am wondering what size hex head I need to remove the lever so I can...

It takes a 1/8" allen wrench to remove handle. To increase hot water flow remove plastic dial that sets temperature. It is right behind handle and slides off stem for easy adjustment.

Remove indicator and replace about 1/8 to 1/4 turn counter clock wise to increase to hotter temperature.

Do you still have the owner's manual of the faucet? if so check under troubleshooting. It sounds like, most grohe products, a pressure problem. Did you check the pressure coming into the house? Do you have a water regulator outside the house? If so check the pressure.
