Where can I find an owners manual for a Craftsman 17'' rear tine tiller with 5.0hp engine?

-Check the locking bolt that hold the tine shaft to the main shaft. Possibly it's broken. If so replace new bolt. you should be good to go again.

If you cant move the tines by hand then I wouldn't think you sheared the pins, more like a gear box problem.

Find the long model number on your tiller. Then go to this site: http://www.managemylife.com/mmh/owner_manuals
Enter your model number and searh for you manual. When the manual is found click get manual or rt click the manual you want Owner, Engine, or parts and download it. The instructions will be in the manual.

Go to sears.com. at top of page about center of page find parts. put in model #. It will give you a breakdown of the whole tiller.

check to see if there is a snap ring on the shaft or a roll pin.
