At this point you have nothing to lose by taking it apart. If you can take it apart, clean the underside of the buttons with DeOxit. It may work.

My clock is eating the batteries so fast I'm changing them every month,I'm not buying the cheap batteries. Thanks Jackie

hi Jackie. I can assist you. In electronics terms, your clock has a short in it which is draining the battery every month. There is no easy and quick fix to this so while you are out shopping for new batteries, also take a look at a new battery operated clock. Good luck with it.

No battery life

The problem you describe is frequently the result of dirty/corroded battery contacts in the camera. Try removing the batteries and cleaning the inside contacts with a fine wire brush, steel wool, or fine sandpaper. Remove any residue left from the cleaning, then replace the batteries. Hopefully all will be well.

If the cleaning doesn't work you might want to check the Kodak troubleshooting guide at:

If it's the same as ours (clock button top left, clear bottom left):
  1. press and hold clock until the clock starts to flash
  2. set time using h/m/s keys
  3. press clock again
Hope it works

Try changing the batteries in the CLOCK. I had the same problem in a 3M similar clock and it didn't read the transmitter correctly or eventually, at all, when the CLOCK batteries were getting low.

My remote wont work

Make sure there isn't corrosion on the battery terminals. Try cleaning the battery terminals. Batteries left for a long time in one device will leak and corrode the terminals so even with new batteries the remote might not work. New batteries usually help too LOL !! Good Luck!

After replacing the transmitter batteries several times, I tried replacing the clock batteries. They must have been getting low. Once I put in new batteries in the clock it worked fine. Good Luck.

After changing the batteries on the outside unit, remove the batteries from the clock for a few minutes, then replace them. This will reset the clock to 'talk' to the transmitter.
